One, open market buyback, and possibly a second equity boost, are near. RNS Ops Corp updateThe Company also intends to initiate a SHARE REPURCHASE PROGRAMME subject to shareholder approval at today's AGM.RNS AGM result The Company continues to analyse its upcoming capital requirements and expects to initiate a BUYBACK shortly, for an initial amount of up to $25 million. These are potentially two different things........complimentary The first along ASR, Accelerated share repurchase programme lines, large scale 20/30/40% of equitySecond is in open market up to 12.73%So a huge equity concentration is not out of question.

mcfly, any chance of getting the goatcam to have a look at the 3 wells in the north to see how they're doing as I reckon they're not best placed bearing in mind S6, aka "the water well". I reckon the company is being very brave to be placing ESP's up there.

I note that the share price is plummeting as predicted.

Broadford/mcfly, isn't it strange that information wasn't spoken about when the company and Gurus were continually spouting about all the wells "talking" to each other over huge distances? Isn't this why there are those that believe this to be just a huge con?

Could it be thought of as dishonest that only the good stuff, not that there's been much of that, is continually hyped up whilst the several "issues" are not mentioned?

As we've seen for 10 years it's all about the vested interests and keeping the trough full for them imo.

It's also very encouraging that the open market buyback will be far more aggressively supported, GKP throwing $25,000,000 at the first stage.Genel only thrown $10,000,000 and have spent about 2m so far and their price is up 12% in a weekRegards a possible larger share repurchase programme we will have to wait and see.One or possibly two equity boosts, must be near. Good Morning Jamie 😃

I've copied a little bit of your post just to highlight some of the things I've been saying in the past.

that stellar connectivity you’ve tapped into, can mean stellar connectivity to the water leg. Produce those fractures too hard and the water comes up to bite you – and once on the scene, there isn’t a whole lot you can do to get rid, at least not without a Tardis and a friendly time lord.

Could this be part of the reason the FDP hasn't been signed yet I wonder ???

Could it also be a reason for the delay in fitting the pumps ???

Back out on the boat tomorrow trying out some new kit 😀

Open market buyback will be formally RNSdAs per Genel.Likelihood my thinking is a larger pre agreed E for D or ASR completion will be announced at the same time, making the open market move effective still.Set out before Buybacks tender offer is very much the norm, this plus Genel in open market unusual, could be takeover defence.

Old JG did at least get one thing correct in all the time he troughed under the Kozel regime which still applies today.

I note the train is still stuck in the sidings.

Hyped plans failed. Presentations failed. Dividend failed. Nothing left other than the pure desperation of buying back their own shares with the funds not now required to be spent on the hyped plans of trying to ramp up production.

Only one production well this year but will it actually increase production? No pumps till late 2019. You know the ones that were going to be fast cheap easy and "off the shelf" that have been three year in the coming, Lofl.

Why is the Chinese takeaway idiot talking to himself? Now that's another sign of how desperate things have become innit:-)

Don't know about golden tickets, but definitely hugely undervalued in my thinking. Shortly initiate was a week and a half ago, so formal start must be close. Both of these Buybacks, Genel and here do have a feel of takeover defence. Reason I say that is most often these sort of Buybacks would be conducted on a tender basis, these aren't, and they have been rushed out. With the company about to start buying $25m worth very shortly it will certainly rise. Genel now up over 10% in 5 days of trading since its buyback formally announced.Frankly I would expect a larger move here as GKP is going to throw more than twice as much initial cash at it than they have.
