28/2/2023 16:59 | Strange post in many ways. I thought Aceventura and 7trademark were pals when they both saw the massive short squeeze happening at 1.3p post results…… | pennystockhunter
27/2/2023 10:03 | Blue Star still hold, at what percentage is unclear, but it is below the 3 percent as per the RNS that was released. Guild are still part of Blues website and Blue are still actively retweeting Guild tweets, including todays. For Blue to make that effort there must be a reason, maybe they hold just under 3 percent or maybe they have future plans. But there is no logic to keep on promoting a company you decided to sell out of. | boysie72

27/2/2023 09:50 | ace ventura1127 Feb '23 - 08:33 - 3112 of 3116 0 0 0 1,100,000 buy just through. Agree, no placing at these lows, maybe no placing ever. ace ventura1127 Feb '23 - 08:34 - 3113 of 3116 0 0 0 Could move fast here, today. Early doors buyers are starting to nibble. Chart looking primed for a sharp rise. | 7rademark
27/2/2023 09:39 | That’s how they started selling yes. Cannot imagine they expected it to affect share price the way it did though… so who is still selling ?? Wouldn’t be the first time circumstances have been attempted/turned into an opportunity instead. | jsis
27/2/2023 09:25 | Blu sold as they couldn't raise cash elsewhere and its admittedly worked well for them, that's not to say they may well buy into a placing. An ii would be great but many will not touch a small cap, it's more likely to be a raise indicated by forward selling as is usual for start ups | 7rademark
27/2/2023 08:32 | Whose to say BLU haven’t been crashing the price so they can pile back in on a placing assuming the company would require one. If the company have any intention of raising, i’d prefer it to be at a price point that negated the possibility of the former being possible. GILD have made massive strides since launch and it makes no sense it’s shares are excessively cheaper now to what they were even a year ago. Now is not the time for raising, GILD seem to be reflecting the same here and just keep pushing forward with the business which at some point, has to reflect back onto the share price | jsis
27/2/2023 08:22 | @jamesshredrix Wouldn’t that read exactly the same however if the brokers approached GILD advising them that they could raise. I see that whole speech as it being an available option if they wanted/needed it rather than a definitive plan of action to do it | jsis
27/2/2023 08:19 | I think it will probably be institutional or an existing sponsor maybe... | glenbo1
27/2/2023 08:05 | I'm rather hoping guild allow existing share holders to buy in the placing. Another revenue stream today, albeit small its another piece in the jigsaw. | 7rademark
27/2/2023 07:54 | Yes saw that. I have been buying for my lads ISA as he spends so much time playing esports. Whatever the placing price I will buy more. | oakville
27/2/2023 07:44 | In the full statutory accounts the independent auditor's report states that the Company is in the process of conducting an equity fund raising. The Company would like to clarify that it has had initial positive conversations with its brokers about a fundraise, however, as yet no financial adviser has been engaged to conduct a fundraising and no timetable or pricing for such an issue has been decided.Until placing price is announced too risky | jameshendrix2023
27/2/2023 07:24 | First contracts signed with major brands including Samsung Mobile Guild Esports PLC (LSE: GILD), a global teams organisation and lifestyle brand, is pleased to announce the launch of Guild Studios, the Company's new production and creative division that provides bespoke campaign-led solutions for brands and media owners looking to connect with esports, gaming, Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha audiences. The launch of Guild Studios represents a new revenue stream for the Company and launches with secured campaigns and projects with brands including Samsung Mobile, that have generated a combined six-figure revenue for the Company. Guild Studios enables the Company to sell end-to-end creative services, production and consultation in esports marketing directly to brands, agencies and media owners. It will sign client mandates for work on individual campaigns, independent from the selling of branding rights to Guild assets or IP. The Company considers that its leading physical facility in Shoreditch, in-house production and creative teams and connection to the UK gaming community through the Guild Academy, Guild College and Guild Pro Teams means that it is uniquely positioned to become the premier agency to consult and execute gaming and esports briefs for brands. Guild Studios' work will span strategy consultation and campaign delivery across engaging online and video content, social media, live esports events and in-game advertising. Esports is continuing to grow at an exponential rate worldwide. As it engages more consumers, its popularity is driving more commercial value for brands. Guild Studios' campaigns are intended to reach younger audiences more effectively than traditional advertising. Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha consumers are increasingly engaging with gaming IP outside of playing video games; 53% of the time Gen-Z consumers spend engaging with gaming IP is in other ways than playing, such as watching tournaments or content creators (source: NewZoo, 2023). 94% of Gen-Alpha consider themselves game enthusiasts, and gaming is their primary source of entertainment (source: NewZoo, 2022). First contracts signed Since its soft launch in January 2023, Guild Studios has secured client mandates with brands including Samsung Mobile. Guild Studios partnered with Samsung to support the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S23 at Westfield White City ("Galaxy S23") on 16 and 17 February 2023, where Guild created an influencer talent led event, followed by a 'Roll-Up' Mobile Esports day on 25 February to demonstrate the gaming performance of the Galaxy S23. This is the third time Guild has partnered with Samsung; Samsung Display has been Guild's Official Display partner since June 2021 and Samsung TV/AV division has been Guild's Official TV partner for the UK and Ireland since June 2022. Jasmine Skee, CEO of Guild Esports, commented : "Creating new revenue streams and generating value for investors are the Company's key objectives for 2023. Guild Studios enables us to monetise our vast in-house expertise in esports by supporting brand owners and sponsors with innovative campaigns, branded content and advertising to a range of companies looking to grow their engagement. "We were delighted to work with Samsung for the launch of the new Galaxy S23. It is the third time they have partnered with us since becoming a major sponsor in June 2021, highlighting the strength of our value proposition and ability to engage with otherwise hard-to-reach Gen-Z and Gen-Alpha consumers." | oakville
