SP is continuously dropping,my condolences to those who bought with the dividend money,if the oncoming results are slightly negative then the 12 pound GSK share price is imminent imo !

This reminds me of aviva, everyone keeps banging on about it being worth “ more “, and “ loading up on weakness “ bla bla, but they are both cxxp, buying stuff for dividends is a mugs game, buy growth, every time, this has become a shocker, I used to trade it now just short it when I can.

A bid for the vaccine and pharma side of GSK would not be allowed,
certainly not at this time.

The only company that would be allowed to bid is AZN
and they do not need nor want GSK.

So for anyone looking to buy GSK in the hope of a bid,
It's very unlikely.

That does not stop occasional media speculation.

2 Swiss companies in the top 3 now. They were going to merge but are now too big to merge.

The share price is in a lull before third quarter 2020 results on Wednesday 28 October, 2020.

On equity market opportunities I'm relatively optimistic for 2021.

We have an ugly few months ahead with COVID and potentially
some stock market downside/increase in volatility to first navigate.

Would hope by H2 2021 some semblance of normality to everyday life
will have returned.

Just keeps sinking. Dividend cut imminent, weak drug pipeline, far too much debt ( the bio tech purchase Tesoro down the drain money 5.1b usd) and covid affecting prescriptions, things have really caught up with gsk and its years of cxxp management, the split will make zero difference to value, next stop for these about 12.50/80. Ftse 350 terminal, reflective of U.K. in general.

Pfizer has already submitted one application for approval - Swissmedic said Pfizer submitted an application for the authorisation of a vaccine which is based on the mRNA technology last week. AZN has also submitted an application.
