16/8/2024 10:20 | The rising pound and a drop in the fuse is not helping GSK either. | abdullla
16/8/2024 09:49 | GSK's Florida state court win is a positive twist in its Zantac litigation saga but concerns continue to cloud the business, AJ Bell Investment director Russ Mould says in a market comment. "The Zantac cloud is overshadowing the progress CEO Emma Walmsley has made in turning around the business and, notwithstanding the good news from Florida, this might continue to prove the case for some time to come," he says. The British pharma giant's continuing legal battle over links between Zantac and cancer remains an issue for the business due to its high case volume, the analyst says. GSK's hope that a similar case dismissal in late 2022 would mark the beginning of the end hasn't materialized yet, he says. The Florida ruling contrasts a Delaware court decision earlier this year that weighs more significantly on GSK, given it accounts for the majority of outstanding cases, Mould says. | dplewis1
16/8/2024 09:14 | "precedence", abdullla - a good point, though | tradermichael
16/8/2024 07:21 | The remaining cases ought to be dismissed under the laws of presidence | abdullla
16/8/2024 07:13 | Give it time, there are a lot of court cases pending yet, but as the wins mount up we should gain traction and hopefully recover towards 1800 again.. Happy to hold and build HLN too, another keep for life share as their debt comes off and dividends ramp up.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/8/2024 07:08 | So predictable these MM,s. You could not make it up. | garycook
16/8/2024 07:07 | Bizarre how this share reacts to news | spoole5
16/8/2024 07:05 | It feels like ex dividend was today | abdullla
16/8/2024 07:05 | Love the market reaction. Zantac is blamed for the laggard share price here all the time but any positive news on that front and the opening bell is always red! | theoriginalwonderstuff
16/8/2024 07:01 | Down a tad at the open. | mister md
16/8/2024 06:52 | Good news for Gsk. Should open at 1700. Let's see how market reacts. | hjs
16/8/2024 06:46 | Interesting choice of words in the RNS...Court's ruling is consistent with scientific consensus that there is no consistent or reliable evidence that ranitidine increases the risk of *ANY* cancer | theoriginalwonderstuff
16/8/2024 06:19 | As these Zantac court case wins stack up it adds more and more weight to the appeals underway in Delaware..We soon recovered most of the XD drop too..Onward and upward, see if we can recover to 1800 again.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
16/8/2024 06:11 | I hope we're in for a very good opening this morning! | theoriginalwonderstuff

15/8/2024 07:53 | Was hoping for a larger drop to add one final tranche but never mind. My average in price is 1510p over the last couple of weeks | dope007
15/8/2024 07:31 | Great open bearing in mind ex div | panache1
14/8/2024 18:05 | Minus 15 pence on the open, but GSK should recover most of it by the closing bell.. :o) | laurence llewelyn binliner
14/8/2024 11:08 | Not always does a share price drop ('big' or otherwise) on x-div day. Even if it does, it more often regains the amount the same day or soon after. | tradermichael
14/8/2024 11:04 | So big drop tomorrow then . | abdullla
14/8/2024 07:45 | x-div tomorrow .... ;0) | tradermichael |
