Diversification, 6-7% yield, low gearing etc - but best check out the BRWM thread ... |
BRWM has high charges though it looks.Never looked at it but did after you gents posted. Performance has not been great and charges high or am I missing something? |
Re: mining I hold approx 50% BRWM and 50% RIO (sorry for off-topic GSK). |
For mining BRWM for me to be diversified |
Yep, GSK and RIO are the positions I'm adding to. No Mag7 for me. |
One of my do well shares for 2025 |
Progress in GSK's pipeline, including 11 positive Phase III readouts and anticipated launches of five major new products in 2025, is expected to significantly impact future earnings by expanding the portfolio and enhancing revenue streams. |
Novo shares plopped 20% .. at least GSK not so heavily reliant on one product |
Yeah in a tough market right now the fact it's holding up at around 1300 is encouraging I feel.
Averaged down a little yesterday and will do so again on Monday if thinks remain stable.
Good luck all 👍🏻 |
Sooner or later all this positive news flow will translate into results and an share price trend reversal.. :o) |
the new drug approvals list is growing nicely |
Shows the pointlessness of dividend investing, you’d get a better yield on risk free treasuries. Rio Tinto looking at cancelling its U.K. listing, the ftse is a dead man walking, much like the U.K. economy, 1970’s here we come, everyone blaming Labour and yes of course they are shxt, but the tories wrecked the joint, terrible politics, austerity, brexit, never recapitalised the banks properly, they have been a total disaster for the country and its currency and markets. |
TM - hope is not a strategy! |
Just keep accepting the dividends and wait for a sentiment change .... ;0) |
The only thing that makes sense would be to asset strip and the UK gov would never allow that |

Well if the economists are to be believed the UK will grow by as much as 2% in 2025! |
With a Labour government wrecking the economy there's not much incentive for a Santa Rally ;0( |
So, does this make more sense?
