Just got another "thank you" email for pointing out
a typo in a news report. Professionals are happy to
be helped in this way.

The difference between a shareholder and a trader
has apparently escaped at least one poster in here.
Not everyone is alive to the nuances of the English
language.

Alan, you can play Rose like a fiddle, he then calls up his pretend friends. Still looking for the seventies just so I can laugh at THE and his stupid bragging about his 300,000 purchased at 28p and his failure to sell any at 163p. What a Muppet, haha. .Zoo

zoo and katsy not a brilliant day on the markets GFM is doing nothing because the price of zinc has dropped below 3000 and I think it will fall further of course the market is well up but we don’t track that at all ,my friend who raves about tremor has had a very good day he is also back into NCYT and that is up a lot, MATD has had a good day but I can find any reason why, only two of my friends coming tomorrow it’s will be absolutely packed down here ,I can’t understand the price of pier group it should be double what it is ,enjoy and leave the three stooges to muckrake between themselves ,

If only there was some sort of mechanism whereby
they could distribute some of the profits to the
shareholders.

Yes Katsy, which means they have a shed load of cash that can only get bigger.

The question is, what will they do with it?

And who will benefit?

I'm quite happy to sit it out to find out.

"A belated victory against COVIDiocy"

"In a belated victory against COVID insanity,
a state Supreme Court judge has declared null
and void New York’s Rule 2.13, endowing the
state health commissioner with unbounded power
to issue isolation and quarantine orders."

"COVID rules were never about science."

"Those rules were about power, exercised by
fanatics and hypocrites."

You're wasting your time Zoo.

No matter how much irrelevant and unpleasant nonsense you spew out, he'll never join your gang.

In fact, if I'm any judge of character, I'd say you are guaranteeing the opposite.

thanks keepingafloat1

I was cac handedly (can I say that) making a comment on the promised improvement in communications. I have attended AGMs where it is usual to read a prepared and previously released statement on current trading before questions. Travis Perkins was the best - held at Lords (not any more).

Being very dull and having a huge shareholding I read virtually every word of the annual report at least once. It includes amounts due to PRC for mining licences that I've not seen mentioned on RNS's. Other things give a hint of COS changes.

You are 100% right - too many variables and unknowns. I try to give my assumptions so others can judge and compare. After 30+ years of financial modelling and forecasting I know I won't be right especially when I have little to go on. Brave? Stupid more like!!

Beany5. The annual report can be found on the company's website, griffin mining.com
The notification of today's AGM being held in Bermuda (where the company is registered) is also there. I do not think it can be accessed electronically. By the way, I thought it was very brave of you to make any forecast of this year's first half year figures. Apart from higher volume, I think there are far too many unknowns.
