02/6/2020 13:00 | Don't forget, alan, that zooperson's wife was onto GGP even earlier, and if she hadn't alerted him, he wouldn't have known anything about it. But of course you can't see any of my posts, you say, despite commenting on them compulsively. | rose_by_another_name

02/6/2020 12:41 | You miss the point, you claimed that you were in the forces, which I very much doubt but if you were you would understand leadership. You don't lead from the back and you don't make threats. There's no leadership, hence no loyalty in Trump's camp. Just fear! That's called dictatorship in a democratic country, it contradicts itself. Trump is a threat to western society due to both his lack of leadership and inability to communicate? in a manner that his position dictates. And you don't get it. But you do, you just like making yourself look the jester. | zooman
02/6/2020 11:35 | A fuller statement from Trump (long, but you asked for it): "I want to express our nation’s deepest condolences and most heartfelt sympathies to the family of George Floyd. Terrible event. Terrible, terrible thing that happened. I’ve asked that the Department of Justice expedite the federal investigation into his death and do it immediately, do it as quickly as absolutely possible." "It’s a local situation, but we’re also making it into a federal situation, and it’s a terrible thing. We all saw what we saw, and it’s very hard to even conceive of anything other than what we did see. It should never happen, should never be allowed to happen, a thing like that. But we’re determined that justice be served, and I spoke to members of the family — terrific people, and we’ll be reporting as time goes by." "We think that we also have to make the statement, and it’s very important that we have peaceful protesters and support the rights for peaceful protesters. Can’t allow a situation like happened in Minneapolis to descend further into lawless anarchy and chaos, and we understand that very well. It’s very important, I believe, to the family, to everybody that the memory of George Floyd be a perfect memory. Let it be a perfect memory. The looters should not be allowed to drown out the voices of so many peaceful protesters. They hurt so badly what is happening, and it’s so bad for the state and for that great city." "So we are working very closely with the Justice Department, we’re working with local law enforcement, we’re working with everybody, and we’re speaking with the family, and hopefully everything can be fairly taken care of." "I understand the hurt. I understand the pain. People have really been through a lot. The family of George is entitled to justice, and the people of Minnesota are entitled to live in safety. Law and order will prevail. The Americans will honor the memory of George and the Floyd family. It’s very important to us, it’s very important to me to see that everything is taken care of properly. It’s a horrible, horrible situation, and so we’ll be reporting back in due course and as quickly as possible." | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 11:22 | Try to broaden your information intake to include sources not devoted to the liberal left distortions that infect the main stream media. Some examples: | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 11:22 | This is what Trump actually said last week about the killing of George Floyd (as opposed to what he said about the rioting): Trump said on Wednesday “At my request, the FBI and the Department of Justice are already well into an investigation as to the very sad and tragic death in Minnesota of George Floyd.” “I have asked for this investigation to be expedited and greatly appreciate all of the work done by local law enforcement,” Trump said. “My heart goes out to George’s family and friends. Justice will be served!” Of course you did not hear that on the BBC or read it in your newspaper. They don't want you to. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 11:14 | And of course I am not posting to curry favour with others on this board. Some of them would make very embarrassing "friends". | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 11:13 | Millwall- The shooting has already started, nothing to do with Trump. He said it would follow the looting, and that is all he has said. He did not threaten to have them shot. You have swallowed the biased media slant. The national guard has been called in by state governors, not Trump. If they don't restore order, Trump has said that he will deploy the army. Looters have been shot by private citizens protecting their property, rioters have been shot by police, and police have been shot by rioters. The US has a lot of firearms, legally held by citizens, and protecting their property, homes, and families is a legal use of them. This is not about the death of the original victim. That has just been used as an excuse. The policeman involved in the original death has been arrested and charged with murder. Not Trumps responsibility. He was a city policeman and it was up to the local authorities (all Democrats) to do their job, which they eventually did after delaying. There are no "true ‘leadership situation, which is being exploited by the radical left to further their cause. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 10:46 | M, you hit the nail on the head, Trump fires from the hip and for the so called leader of the free world this is not a good thing to do. In fact its down right dangerous.Good luck with GGP its a good story coming to fruition.Zoo | zooman
02/6/2020 10:42 | Alan, Griffin is interesting but still way below what I sold out at. The proceeds of that sale have been spread around namely GGP which is currently very exciting as we know.If I'd left the money here I would still be down at these current levels. Thus if they do announce the licence which I doubt, but could be possible the question would be why have they not updated the market but held it for the results?I see M has joined in the fun with GGP. Zoo | zooman
02/6/2020 10:12 | Rose. You are of course fully entitled to your unswerving personal support for Mr Trump but by supporting on here the most outrageous views he suggests such as shooting the protesters instead of using true ‘leadership | millwallfan
02/6/2020 09:26 | There is an interesting law that has arisen from this separation of powers. When the Federal government wanted to outlaw prostitution, and certain states were not enforcing their own laws against it, the feds passed a law against transporting a woman across a state line for immoral purposes. This they could do because the constitution allows them to regulate inter-state commerce. The target was organised crime that moved prostitutes around the country, but there have been famous cases of individuals prosecuted when they crossed state lines with their girlfriends in the car. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 09:23 | zoo GFM still going up somebody knows something ,invest direct raised the price to 55p but still had a sell on it ,zinc is still under 2000 ,very puzzling , lovely rise by GGP ,we are both making a fantastic profit now ,keep safe | alangriffbang
02/6/2020 09:21 | Further, it should be noted that these laws are the responsibility of the individual states. The federal government of the United States, and the President, are not involved. The Constitution of the United States delineates the powers of the Federal government, and all other powers remain with the state governments. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 09:20 | Rose It's only you because you are a troll that pretends to be intelligent. Unfortunately there is no correlation between the two. Your problem started a long time ago, bad tadpoles and blow up dolls. | zooman
02/6/2020 09:16 | zoo as usual our vile troll knows best , | alangriffbang
02/6/2020 09:13 | I realise that post may be hard for the intrinsically illogical mind to encompass, so- No, "anything" does not "go" based on one specific legal anomaly, or even more than one. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 09:09 | There's a wild tangent. But to address your comment- Non sequitur - an inference that does not follow from the premises; specifically : a fallacy resulting from a simple conversion of a universal affirmative proposition or from the transposition of a condition and its consequent. I've noted before your inability to apply logic in your attacks on people, most frequently the use of ad hominem. | rose_by_another_name
02/6/2020 08:56 | Alan,Trump has incited the problems over there? with his wacky tweets. Mind you in a country where in some states you can marry a child, anything goes.Disgusting..... | zooman |
