10/9/2015 10:07 | Wow, this looks good. Still no major buyers or sellers though | jadeticl3
10/9/2015 09:15 | Nice rises. I am hoping at some point soon this year the following will change from "This win will provide a solid contribution to the Group's planned CTC revenues in the current and future years" to "This win will provide a solid contribution to the Group's UNPLANNNED CTC revenues in the current and future years" | thebullyboy
09/9/2015 18:10 | Today's was an RNS Reach announcement. Had it been a key new account I doubt Kestrel would have been allowed to be buying so recently. | wh1spa
09/9/2015 16:23 | Just read this again. It should say two sellers of 15000 each. Even worse! | jadeticl3
09/9/2015 16:15 | Two sellers today of 5000 shares each at 105p. How odd. They must be desperate for cash. There must be more sensible ways to raise cash than by selling GHT. Maybe, like me, they bought their original holdings when the price was 33p and feel they have done well enough. They could end up like sellers of ASOS who bought at 5p and sold next week at 12p, only to find that they went up to 4500p after a couple of years. I am happy with the announcement today although I did not see the words "key accounts" which I now look for. I am also happy with the rise in share price. | jadeticl3
09/9/2015 08:38 | Be good when we have more than three MM's covering this. Anyway good RNS, hopefully many more to come. | wh1spa
09/9/2015 08:04 | Further positive news this morning with the new contract win as per the RNS below. The share price has been moved upwards in response - perhaps the brokers are now really back on board. The term 'contract wins' in the plural as regards North America is very interesting indeed - perhaps previous rumors about the strength of the North American opportunity had some basis. As always DYOR - onwards and upwards. 9 September 2015 Gresham Computing plc CTC contract win with a global insurance and asset management firm Gresham Computing plc (LSE: "GHT", "Gresham" or the "Group"), the leading software and services company that specialises in providing real-time financial transaction control and enterprise data integrity software, is pleased to announce a new customer win in insurance. A global provider of insurance and asset management services has contracted to use the CTC platform within its Singapore-based businesses after a competitive RFP and Proof of Concept process. CTC will be utilised to provide control and integrity of Nostro Bank Accounts, reconciling high value payments from customers against a number of internal policy ledger systems. Prior to implementing CTC these processes were managed using a combination of manual controls and spreadsheets; CTC will improve transaction integrity, create efficiencies and reduce operating costs, and will establish a robust global control framework for future projects. This win will provide a solid contribution to the Group's planned CTC revenues in the current and future years, and has the potential to add further revenues as the customer's use of CTC grows. Ian Manocha, CEO, commented: "It's no surprise that another global financial services provider has chosen CTC over the alternatives. Existing customers are achieving break-through results and the platform's flexibility continues to attract new use cases. Coupled with our recent North American wins, this new customer win in South East Asia validates our investment into these regions and further strengthens our recurring revenue base." | schytalk
04/9/2015 11:54 | Jadeticl3 It does seem strange that the price is rising on no real volume or apparent news. I still believe the share price should be at around 110p even without any more news - that is the level of the CEO options and was clearly 'calculated' as fair by the company and of course accepted by the CEO. Fingers crossed for some big news. | schytalk
04/9/2015 09:55 | Graph looks good for us shareholders, especially with a rise in share price today on a poor day for the market. Seems a healthy rise for only two small buys so maybe some good news floating about in the ether. I am always expecting imminent good news from this company!! | jadeticl3

30/8/2015 08:37 | jadeticl3 My thinking is based on my own analysis and discussions with the company a few months back when the equity restructuring was carried out to make way for a new CEO (options). As always DYOR but Kestrel continue to support and see the 'big picture' in my view. There is also the 'rumour' that the US sale is very significant. | schytalk
29/8/2015 21:33 | Schytalk, is your thinking based on anything tangible or more of a wish? Recall richjp's comments about how difficult it is to seal contracts with big companies. However, if the big USA company (the most recent key account success) was in any way a leader, this may prompt others to follow. This is a hope more than a thing of substance! The fact is that GHT has held up very well in an exceptionally turbulent week. | jadeticl3
29/8/2015 10:24 | amt Agreed the market has been 'pants' and yet Gresham has managed to crime about the 'sticky' £1 level. I still think there will be some significant news soon and that the share price will get to at least 110p (the level of the CEO options). | schytalk
29/8/2015 07:16 | Kestrel continue to load up leaving us here with about the only share that hasn't been punished last week. | amt

15/8/2015 19:22 | Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon FISt, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.Bill Gates | wh1spa
15/8/2015 16:00 | Some research for you looking for a needle in a very big hay stack. Chief executive Chris Errington said: "We have now more than doubled CTC customer numbers during 2014, adding some excellent client names to our growing client list, including this North American customer which is a subsidiary of one of the largest financial institutions in the world." Largest USA Financial financial institutions in the world is 1 Berkshire Hathaway Inc 2 Fannie Mae 3 JP Morgan Chase 4 Bank of America 5 Wells Fargo 6 Citigroup 7 Prudential Financial 8 MetLife 9 American International Group 10 Goldman Sachs | qantas
15/8/2015 14:39 | Wh1spa, it reads as though you know who the "American outfit" is, and so I presume you are well stocked up on GHT, and sleeping soundly on it??? Just Wh1spa it to me! I won't tell a soul! | jadeticl3
15/8/2015 11:49 | Wh1spa I think it is arguably one of the sleeping giants of digital wallets.. hxxp://www.gresham-c | qantas
15/8/2015 11:08 | Broadridge are pretty big. With the likes of Kestrel being the proactive investors that they are I don't think theres a chance in hell of GHT being bought out in the short term . Medium to Longterm they may accept an offer northwards of £5. The PCI-DSS accreditation should bring in a very valuable revenue stream and if you knew who the American outfit was that is using their system I think you'd all be topping up. | wh1spa
15/8/2015 09:45 | Jadeticl Good summary and yes the run rate of wins will shape things and of course the new CEO was brought in to build a significant business not flog it off. So who are the big players in this field? The list (follow link) below is interesting but I would suggest Oracle/I-flex, Misys, Sunguard, Smartstream (Ken Archer was their CEO) are the main players. hxxps://haiderraza.w | schytalk
15/8/2015 08:51 | The current posts have helped to crystallise my own views! It does appear that the logic of the three posters above drives one to the conclusion that a Big Player should be considering a bid for GHT at a handsome premium to the current "low" price. Whether Gresham could repel an offer would depend on how the next 6-9 months goes for them. Another 3 key account wins in that period would help them make a case for independence, whereas only one (or none), even with the new CEO, would demonstrate to all just how difficult it is for a smaller player to break into the big time. As always, this next 6-9 months is critical. Hold onto your seats. | jadeticl
15/8/2015 08:00 | Great debate and I think goes to the crunch of just how big CTC will be. I have said before (repeatedly) that Gresham has arrived as a niche player and I think the current share price just about reflects this. The challenge, and I am guessing that Gresham has a 2 year technical lead, is to make volume sales whether that be within mainstream banking or with end users such as insurance companies (both hopefully). Agree that mainstream banking is pretty much a closed shop with a few select established venders. The Gresham strategy of complementing existing systems - most likely actually replacing things like the spreadsheet and hard to cover/uncovered areas, seems a good one but in time they would hope to replace the 'old technology' completely. This leads to another of my (repeated) views that the established players will have to replace their base technology at some point - albeit this is very slowly done in a legacy banking environment - some of this old stuff really needs to be consigned to the bin! Some will be (and probably are) building new solutions although this is a hard sell against your existing expensive old technology one, I would have thought banks would see a new solution from an existing supplier as an upgrade so revenues would be limited, established players have a lucrative revenue stream to protect, it is not all upside for them. So I would have thought that at least one established player would view Gresham (well CTC) as a perfect acquisition thereby leap frogging to a new technology solution whilst supporting their current one. | schytalk
14/8/2015 15:52 | The interim statement stated 'We are trading in line with our expectations....' and although CTC revenues increased this was offset by a drop in revenue from other parts of the business. I agree with the difficulty they face in competing with the big players that are already ingrained in banks etc. | goldnugget |
