We're lucky it is a rising market today as otherwise the share price would have finished in the 60's today.
They are speeding up the buybacks now, 7m done at approximately £5m, £10m to go by end of May.

Classic profit warning I'm afraid but worth accumulating in the lower 60s I'd say.

Jan 26 - Irish food group Greencore Plc
GNC.L said on Thursday it expects its full-year outturn to be
at the lower end of market expectations as industrial action and
slow recovery from inflationary pressures hit demand and
volumes.
"It's a difficult, volatile market, and the business has got
off to a slower start to the year than envisaged," said Chief
Executive Officer Dalton Philips.

MS are probably anticipating a takeover, plus many Arbitrageurs with llarge stakes now Rubric, Black Creek, Brandes, etc. Company must reinstate Dividend at Thursday AGM or yhere will be tzkeover at current low price

Trading update on Thursday. I'm expecting it to be very good eg +25% Revenue compared to last year (when the share price was 50p higher!) Hopefully the BOD will be positive about future trading and the share price will keep improving.
There were some big trades Friday morning of 1m and 580k, is it shorts closing, someone building a stake, buybacks or MS playing around with their 10% holding? May see something declared soon.

They are buying back slowly , make sure take out more shares which is good for shareholders.

Buybacks are currently only just over 100k or £70k a day. At this rate they are not going to spend the £15m by their deadline of 31 May (there is nearly £12m left to spend over about 100 trading days to go). But I'm thinking that if they increase the buybacks the share price will go up due to low liquidity/no sellers at this low price.
