Absolutely. I agree.

Given Mayflowers posts across all prospects I concentrated on what I believe could be the site which will be likely to produce the next news

Robust performance by the share price today in light of the 2nd placing. Was surprised at the volume thought momentum would have been taken away... But it did hold up.

I see there was a post suggesting the BoD have been responding to PI questions. Have you met the board or got experience of them responding directly to you?

April2017 M1 update.....
ember, the Group commenced a joint Phase 1 drilling programme over M1 with Crown Point. Great Western's section of the programme is concentrating on the drilling target zone identified earlier in the year. The target zone falls within the 34 Great Western claims which form part of the Huntoon Mine Area Cooperation Agreement and is to the north-east of Crown Point's claim area. Great Western is funding three core boreholes to test the depth of the anomalous gold mineralisation identified at M1. Crown Point and Great Western operations personnel commenced drilling in late November and the programme is scheduled for completion as soon as the spring break up in this mountainous area allows work to recommence at the end of the winter.

Wonder what will come out of this work?

Nov M1 drill program

"M1" Drill programme

Great Western Mining (AIM: GWMO & ESM) is pleased to announce that it is has agreed a joint Phase 1 drilling programme over its M1 gold and silver prospect in Mineral County, Nevada with local partner Crown Point Gold & Silver Mining LLC ("Crown Point").

The programme will concentrate on an area identified as a drilling target zone by GWM's recent soil sampling as reported to shareholders in the M1 update. The target zone falls within the 34 Great Western Mining claims that form part of the Huntoon Mine Area Cooperation Agreement signed with Crown Point earlier this year and is North East of Crown Point's claim area.

The programme will consist of three core boreholes to test the depth of the anomalous gold mineralisation identified at M1. Operations personnel are currently on site preparing access roads and drill pads. Drilling is scheduled to commence week beginning 14 November.

Nov M1 update....

During the spring and early summer of 2016, the Great Western Mining field team conducted a second soil and rock chip sampling programme on M1 to consolidate the very encouraging results of the previous year. The programme has taken a total of 215 soil samples at 40 metre intervals, and 70 randomly selected rock samples, and sent these to Bureau Veritas, Reno for analysis.

The sampling programmes have been designed by Dr Tom Molyneux, GWM's geological advisor, in order to determine the existence of a mineralised zone below the NE-SW trending magnetic anomaly identified in previous aero-magnetics and ASTER satellite surveys carried out by the Company.

The programme has revealed widespread anomalous mineralisation. In particular, Gold seems to constitute a geochemical anomaly, with sample readings above 240 ppb Au, spanning two separate soil grid lines, approximately 350 metres apart. Anomalous readings of Silver, 1383 and 1986 ppm Ag, and Lead, 4434 ppm Pb, have also been found in these locations. The Company views this area as a potential drilling target zone.

Aug M1.....

GWM and Crown Point will share resources and cooperate in exploiting the potential of the Huntoon Mine Area including shared use of existing access roads
· The initial period of the agreement will be 3 years, extendable by mutual consent
· Crown Point will be permitted to follow commercially exploitable veins originating on its own ground into GWM's claims with profits shared between the parties.
· Any farm-out or sale of acreage will be conducted as a joint operation with the benefits accruing to both parties.

Chief Executive, David Fraser commented:

"This agreement represents a significant milestone in the potential commercialisation of M1. Crown Point has already recovered encouraging grades of Gold from its 6 Huntoon Area claims, the potential of which extends into GWM's claims. Crown Point's success can be correlated with the anomalous Gold readings which GWM has established over a wide area. We look forward to working with Crown Point on the development of the area around the Huntoon Mine and will update shareholders as work progresses."

About Crown Point:

Crown Point is a private Nevada corporation which holds six patented mining claims in the vicinity of the Huntoon Mine. The managers of Crown Point have an operating history in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado and other US jurisdictions and enjoy close working relations with the local mining authorities. Crown Point has undertaken a major programme to improve the roads and infrastructure around the Huntoon Mine and is in the process of applying to the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection ("NDEP") for a mining and milling (physical separation) licence to establish an on-site mill with an annual capacity of 36,500 tons in respect of its 6 patented claims.

About M1:

The M1 prospect is on the west side of The Huntoon valley and consists of 164 full and 12 fractional unpatented claims. In 2015 the Great Western field team carried out a programme of work which included a total of 133 soil samples and 34 rock chip samples taken along the strike of a north-east to south-west trending magnetic anomaly identified by prior aero-magnetics and ASTER satellite surveys carried out by the Company. The soil samples revealed widespread anomalous mineralisation with gold showing readings of up to 248 ppb Au spread over a large area.
There were also anomalous readings of Copper (Cu),with a high reading of 2467 ppm Cu, and other minerals.
In the spring and early summer of 2016 the GWM field team conducted a further sampling programme on M1 consisting of approximately 120 soil and rock chip samples. The results from this field work is expected shortly.

Golconda, EM Group (M8)
M8 contains the historic Eastside Mine (“EastsideR21;), where high grade oxide copper ores were mined from shallow underground workings during World War One. Conoco investigated Eastside as a copper porphyry prospect in the early 1970's, identifying mineralisation consisting of substantial copper (Cu) and molybdenum (Mo) values. GWM has been able to obtain a substantial quantity of the data from Conoco's exploration efforts. All soil samples taken summer 2014 by the GWM field team produced strongly anomalous Cu readings, with several samples greater than 10,000 ppm Cu. Geochemical analysis conducted by Conoco in the 1970's also produced strongly anomalous copper and molybdenum readings, with high values greater than 25,000 ppm Cu and 640 ppm Mo. GWM is still assimilating data on M8, but thus far the data is sufficient to confirm at least one, potentially large, copper oxide target.

Huntoon
The Huntoon Group is located on the north west side of the Huntoon Valley and comprises of 164 full and 12 fractional claims covering an area of approximately 1,396 hectares in total. The claims surround the workings of Crown Point Gold & Silver’s underground Huntoon mine.
Huntoon Group
M1 Exploration Target
High grade oxidised copper mineralisation is exposed along a north east trending zone and a number of samples from this area have also tested positive for high grade silver. On the south east of the Huntoon claim group, a pronounced magnetic anomaly is located on the trend from the old Huntoon mine. Initial investigations suggest that this could represent a skarn-hosted copper deposit.
A comprehensive soil grid and rock chip geochemical programme was executed over a substantial proportion of the M1 during the late spring and early summer of 2015.

Black Mountain, M2 Exploration Target
The M2 Exploration Target is an Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) deposit with inherently favorable metallurgical characteristics. The target, located on the eastern flank of the Huntoon Valley consists of Mesozoic sediments and volcanics, where the mineralisation is associated with the contact with intermediate intrusives. The target was defined using ASTER spectral analysis, airborne and ground magnetics, induced polarisation (IP), soil and rock geochemistry and geological mapping.
In 2013 the company completed a 790 metre discovery level drill programme on M2. A total of nine reverse circulation holes were drilled, and some 1500 sample points were examined for copper, silver and gold. In 2014 a further 23 Reverse Circulation holes were drilled for a total of 4,252 metres. Drill angles ranged from -45° to vertical, and drill depths from 51.8 metres to 420.6 metres. The final quarter of 2014 saw the successful establishment at M2 of a maiden independent JORC compliant, Inferred Resource, containing 23,636 metric tonnes of Copper, and 16,000 ounces of Gold.
M2 is a potential planar structure, extending 2,134 metres south-southeast beneath the crest of Bass Mountain to the vicinity of the historic Smith Copper Mine. The Company considers that the source of the M2 and Smith Mine copper mineralistion is an epithermal plume located beneath the “Sharktooth221; peak of Bass Mountain. Low grade, open-pittable copper-gold values at M2 are indicators of much higher grade and more consistent copper-gold oxide mineralisation at the intersection the vertical north-easterly Sharktooth structure and the Diorite-Dunlap hanging wall caprock. Great Western is in the process of devising a Phase 3 drilling programme to identify the core of the epithermal plume, and to extend the strike length of the 2014 Inferred Resource to the Sharktooth peak.

An excellent day! Cheap stock available at the open and no problem with selling stock all day despite the placing. I did a number of trades today ...held on to the ones I bought early. The 3 million cash in the bank means the company is well funded and lots of news is on the way. What more can we want!!
