Chief People Officer Appointment

Grainger plc, the UK's largest listed residential landlord and leader in the build-to-rent sector, is pleased to announce that Michelle Boothroyd has been appointed as its Chief People Officer.

Michelle was previously People Director at Nationwide, the world's largest building society, where she was responsible for delivery of Nationwide's strategic people and cultural transformation agenda. Prior to her time at Nationwide, Michelle held senior HR roles at Santander and RBS.

As Grainger's new Chief People Officer, Michelle will support Grainger's ambitious growth plans as the UK's leading residential landlord. This new role reflects one of Grainger's core values of 'People at the heart' and the importance it places on its people as a growing operationally-focused business. In addition, Michelle will help drive forward Grainger's Inclusion and Diversity agenda, securing the business as a leading employer in the real estate sector. Michelle will join Grainger's Executive Committee. She is expected to start in late January 2022.
