KCACO If you are new to share trading there's a good example of a share not to get ,in the top risers today. SJH is up a lot but the news only temporarily holds them up,yet when you look at the rise you would be forgiven for thinking it is wonderful.

The reason is technical if you look at the financials tab, it has a minute number of shares in issue so its fall will likely to be as quick as its rise.

Protection is important in these markets.
No share is safe these days.

IMO

Some one is offloading in to the rises and hence the price doesnt rocket. No holdings RNS yet so dont know who it is.

I just did a dummy trade and you buy any. If they continue like this for ever some will get bored and sell. It's a sorry tale.

They need to release this and allow it to go to 50p 60p 120p to get sells

From what I'm seeing I can already see a difference. As for the short supply of stock not even the company or Donald trump can do anything about this.

If the mms decide not to create a market then everone is paralysed to do anything about this.

I will wait to see what happens

Hey spacedust . I don’t know how these things work as I’m fairly new to all this .
But will things be different with Emma Priestley in charge ?

That's the main problem with Grl and has been for decades.

1. Can't buy so share price stays static. People get bored and sell. Sp collapses like it's Armageddon.

2.We have some free float. People buy those free float and share price goes up 10 to 20%.

3. No more.free.float no one can buy share price stays static. People get bored and sell. Sp collapses.

It's a vicious cycle which there's nothing you or anyone else can do about it. Not even the company can do anything about it. We had an rns many years ago about mighty randgold as our partner and the share price declined.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like im going GRL as PXC isnt listed on fidelity either. Cant buy any GRL at the minute as im guessing the liquidity is low? Had this problem with STAF.

If infidelity don't list PUR then they've made the decision for you.

Buy 1m grl shares before they get into double digits. Thank me at Xmas and the happy New year

Hankscorpio. I like GRL, particularly as it is undervalued and due to start production before the end of this year, so we should start to see a return pretty quick. The risks are environmental permitting, country location and CV impact, and whether they run out of cash before production. I also like PXC very much, which may have an even greater return into the longer term. It's a copper company fast converting into gold, but in a very safe location (Idaho USA). The risks are associated with whether they can finance, but the BoD seem very positive. PXC is also extremely undervalued, and could well go up several fold this year, and perhaps even a ten bagger by the end of 2021. You pays your money and takes your choice...

Was going to go with both but Fidelity dont even list PUR for some reason. They do list GRL though. They seem to pick and choose what companies they have available E.G. still no TILS on there.

PUR is a safer bet, but the greater the risk the greater the reward. GRL could double your investment short term, and do multiples in the longer term

Go for 1m grl shares to begin with.

But good luck trying to get gold of stock as there's hardly any free float

Looking to invest in the gold market due to the future price of gold going up making it a good bet. What are everyone's thoughts on the best companies to invest in medium to long term? I've got PUR and GRL in my sights and although PUR seems a safer bet, the higher entry point makes future profits not as enticing as GRL. Any thoughts appreciated.

If there's no free float it w9nt fly unless mms release the breaks.

When it starts to be known as a producer then share price ought to reflect that.
