GBP12k sold and GBP1M off the MCAP!! |
Cleared GBP2.8M at 1.9p, saves huge future interest costs and the price drops. WTF |
GRL has a good balance of major investors and executives with substantial skin in the game and share options to reward all.AIMSL have had ample chance to wind it up and take over, so it's clearly not their objective.I see this going along way, as currently listed. If it can fund the development of Akrokeri to production the MCAP will be 10-20 times higher. Forget the troubled history as it's been operational and macro issues, not shenanigans. 2025 will be transformational. |
The junior gold miners have done nothing in this stellar period of gold’s rise. The reason is no doubt due to 15 years of failure in being able to progress to become a producer. Spacedust gave some good examples and you can add CNR, BMV, KEFI( diluted holders to oblivion).
Those that got into production and to a point of being able to deliver serious shareholder returns (SHG, CEY) got “stolen” from shareholders ( low ball takeover).
GRL is an outlier in that it’s experienced some of the above (dilution) and has it all to prove on the production side but finally appears on the cusp….
It will be interesting to see if gold mania happens this time around. |
Hi space, From GGP:
"On 8 December 2024, the first gold bars under Greatland ownership were poured at Telfer." - just saying :-)
More than happy to be in both GRL and GGP with more invested in GRL!
Anyway, Happy Christmas all! |

“If Homase can self finance the development of Akrokeri to production”
Homase can’t even turn a profit, so how is it going to fund another mine?
Don’t forget there’s almost a billion shares in issue now, a few years back there were 250m. Calls of a 4p share price would mean a market cap of £36m, I can’t see that on 8koz production (if they hit target). |
My wish is grls command |
I see the rise to above 3p to be pretty quick. At what point would be 3p share options be exercised. A major positive signal. |
Must be a blue day today |
If Homase can self finance the development of Akrokeri to production GRL would be worth several hundred million. Homase has higher grades under the existing open pit, so they will double production simply by doubling the g / t. 24,000 ounces rate, at a very low AISC, is on the cards by 2026 |
Birim Gold (1996) & Pan African Resources (2000) – 5,200m Diamond Drilling Relogged in 2018 High grade quartz veins up to 8 g/t 1.5m @ 52.1 g/t 17m @ 11 g/t Individual Assays up to 25 g/t
You can see why the ultimate aim is to use Homase to fund reopening of Akrokeri. |
Akrokeri, historic grades:
During the four-year production period, between 1905 and 1909, 94,500 tonnes of ore were mined to produce about 75,071 ounces of gold. The recoverable grade is calculated to be 24.7g Au/ton. |
No one did until musk bought some shares. |
Cheers HG, never heard of that one before! |
Hi ronson,I maybe showing my age but what is a telegram group? |
