18/4/2016 13:17 | I think Adam Hamilton is right but, as he argues, it may take 18 months with several strong setbacks along the way. Currently It may be plain sailing until mid May if the seasonals hold up. | dogberry202000
16/4/2016 09:02 | some gold stock porn for you | dilbert dogbreadth

14/4/2016 12:38 | Dont blame you as I too trade around the edges but will keep my main holding in my sip and not trade it. I want permanent exposure to this gold bull in some form or other. I also hold physical ( and that's not an ETF ) But there does look like a head and shoulders on the gold price and I will not be the only to think this, which could takes us down to low 1100's but I don't think it will be there for long and that will be the time to throw all you have at it and ride it all the way up. just my thoughts. | dilbert dogbreadth
14/4/2016 09:07 | Taken profit for now. Back in later. | bamboo2
13/4/2016 21:26 | dd, afaik, advfn handles the data from late trades in two ways. The late volume is normally 'lost' [ie it won't be included] from the volume figures on charts, such as the live gpm chart in the header. Late reported trades are moved to the relevant day, once the figures are archived. Hence we should know tomorrow when the trade took place. Cheers for noticing it in the first place. :) | bamboo2
13/4/2016 20:53 | stevie, yes, I was thinking it could be a buy too. Link courtesy of 'brugen'. Added to header. | bamboo2
13/4/2016 20:52 | Who knows but unless they're well connected I wouldn't expect them to get inside the spread. In the old days the trades would have a code I.e MM. to MM was a code m if I remember correctly. | dilbert dogbreadth
13/4/2016 20:37 | Bamboo, could that not have then been a buy . Also great link thanks very interesting | stevieweebie2
13/4/2016 20:25 | dd, looking at the price of that trade, 26.5p, is there a chance the reporting is delayed from 11 April? brugen, thanks for the info, will take a look and add a link to the header if poss. | bamboo2
13/4/2016 20:05 | Someone dumped 475k this morning. Might be a bigger buy out there as they were well bid | dilbert dogbreadth
13/4/2016 16:44 | Nav 36.54 still gives 20% discount so we are still playing catchup, nice. As you say DD , nothing goes in a straight line but happy to hold. | stevieweebie2
13/4/2016 15:50 | well dummy sell 100K quoted 29.3 dummy buy could only buy 10K at 30 More to come here although gold could be due a breather | dilbert dogbreadth
13/4/2016 09:17 | bamboo Is anyone aware of a chart that can show the historical relationship between the discount/premium and share price? I think that Trustnet shows this on some investments, but not this one, afaik. Hargreaves Lansdown gives this up to 10 years | brugen
12/4/2016 15:46 | Yes, over 20% dis to nav now I think. Even with the recent rise | stevieweebie2
12/4/2016 15:17 | NAV 35.67 up from 33.98, so 5% jump. Some Ozzie gold miners were up overnight, (e.g Beadell res up 7%) , NYK miners down 1% now, so might see 36 tomorrow | llef
11/4/2016 21:08 | junior gold miners closed up 7% fortuna silver mines (4th biggest holding at 6% of fund as of 29 feb), closed up 9.6% today. looking good fro tomorrow | llef
11/4/2016 20:07 | Great price action today. Good volume. Is anyone aware of a chart that can show the historical relationship between the discount/premium and share price? I think that Trustnet shows this on some investments, but not this one, afaik. | bamboo2
11/4/2016 18:03 | Once this crosses 30p we will never see this price again. I think we will see a relentless advance in the share price as institutions increase their positions in GPM into May. There are very few investment vehicles like this one and yet it is a relatively small precious metals investment fund. However, this will gradually change as the nav increases. I see a ten fold increase within 2 years. | dogberry202000 |
