| 14/4/2024 21:06 | The Gold price went from $35 when Nixon uncoupled the Gold price from the US$ to a high of circa $650 around 10 years later in 1980. That's an approximate 18 fold increase in around 10 years. The approximate 9 fold increase in the Gold price to a high of circa $1900 in 2011 took place during the previous decade. Gold had another low of just over $1000 in 2016. Will we see another high achieved in 2026, a decade after the 2016 low? Will that high be around $5000? Who knows? What will happen in the future to the Gold price will no doubt depend on Global economic and political news. However history has a habit of repeating itself. | papillon | |
