Good results and an impressive move into profit. There is no reason why they will not continue to grow from here.

We might even finish level or blue today after the initial bout of profit taking.

I am staying put - this could be an exiting story and once a bit more publicity comes our way a few institutions might start sniffing about a little more.

Also no more dilution.

Acounts reads well to me , they sound competent and confident. Plus points for me outweigh the negatives. Negatives are the pension fund deficit but that has benefited from the strong markets. There will be more eps dilution 1in 2007 after the latest placing, and they have lost a lot of money in the FX markets during 2006 so they need to tighten-up on that side of things.
ON the plus side they have a clear game plan and have the capital in place to go ahead, the balance sheet looks strong now ,cash flow is ok and shoudl be very strong as they go forward.I like it that they have decided to build the Goindustry brand. Thye seem very focussed on their business processes. They have plenty of market to hit at so all they are doing now should generate real business momentum on a global scale and in a very cost-effective way. They also have loads of tax losses to use up.
Things look good to me.

The institutions listed in Friday's RNS hold over 65% of the shares. Add it the directors and get a small free float - hence the reason this will fly on tips and any good news.

Next weeks results should put some flesh on the bones. Figures may not be spectacular but it is all about China and the forward looking statement.

I've just noticed the RNS that was issued at around 6pm. ICG holdings with 29.3%, quite some holding, and not a familiar name to me.

Not sure if this RNS concerns holdings post placing?

Can anyone say if RHPS have quoted any PE figures for GOI? The lack of earnings forecasts makes this company difficult to value. I've held a few for a while on a small punt basis but would leap in for a load more if a decent research note was published showing forward earnings. Any thoughts much appreciated.

Stegrego,
Ditto.
Did some investigation and arrived here.
Interesting share, but must read more about it before investing.
Good luck to all who are in!

I thought it must have been a tip given the numbers of small trades.

If they had read the title of this thread they could have known this years ago ;-)

I got a flyer earlier this week from RHPS trying to get a sub.

the front cover said in huge letters - 'buy next ebay for 19p.'

it didn't say what company called but did mention industrial auctions.

clearly this was GOI

so either people have figured this out or paid sub and have now been told

Hitting new highs - I expect that GOI might be doing the analyst rounds - anyone who wants to buy a chunk of these will drive the price a lot higher.

Looking good. Still tempted to buy more - any significant buying will get the MM's scrambling.

Lots of excited posts here today, considering the breakout! Not

I guess when GOI are about 40p the herd will arrive proclaiming how exciting they are!

Interesting stats Dibbs - some sign of slow growth. Surprised at the large UK element - they need to boost the US. Entry into China should shake things up.

If you look at the current GOI auctions on the website the next few days see the sales of Bookham Technology assets! Made me chuckle to see one of the stand out names of the Tech Boom resurface under such circumstances! How the mighty fall! and the little guys recycle the leftovers!

I looked up GOI on Alexa, the figures can be pretty erratic, although they are still a good indicator of site traffic. Traffic levels seem to be rising nicely.

Hopefully the results and forward looking statement around the 25th will be sufficiently good to allow the share price to breakout to new highs.

Record highs are not far off. I think this has a big future but the risks remain high.

Nice rise today, a surprise in some respects with the placing of the new shares just around the corner. The market seems to be a little more aware of GOI, raising the money without a big discount in a more cautious market could have been tricky for some companies.

A break above 20p soon would be nice!

Yep! Just had a gander at the web and see they have got quite a network of companies on the ground now. Being a newcomer tell me are these all recent purchases or have they been ownde for a while?

Amongst all the red in the portfolio today a welcome spot of green! Hope GOI can remain static during the current market wobbles. Green again tomorrow may be a great result if the sell off continues its path around the worlds exchanges tonight.

All part of the joys of investing eh!

Nice little spot - £5m sounds a lot though but a profit I can see.

Still watching carefully - a break above 19 could see this flying.
