Always difficult to judge these pull backs. At 17p we will be pretty much at the bottom of the new recent uptrend. 200 day MA at around 16p, which should also lend support. My gut says 17p, but I am frequently wrong and despite a new years resolution to give that up I suspect it will not work!

Good luck with your timing.

Hi Dibbs

GOI is on my watchlist and I'm still looking for a suitable entry point.

LOL - mindless rampers like robbiepaul just dilute the quality and undermine the credibility of threads that they hang out on.

LED seems to have become very volatile over the past couple of days with a 2.5m transaction yesterday and a 3m one today (and this is a company with a free float of just 5.2m !).

Hi Masurenguy,

The chart looks a better though for this little drop back. I thought that 17p was quite probable before another move up.

It will take a bit of a kick to get through the resistance IMO.

Can't complain too much, given a very steep rise from 11p to 18/19p. Still looking good for my mind.

OT, Have you come here for a bit of peace after LED?? That thread has become pretty "ramptastic" objective thoughts not welcome, you deramper!!!! Only joking

Seems to have hit resistance at around 18 - 19p over the past couple of weeks.
Todays drop is on a very small volume so far.

Small retrace today on the 450k sale, a couple of decent buys though I reckon.
I think that after the strong run we may now see 17p before a bit of a breather and then a further move up.

Certainly every reason to expect good gains in 2007.

Comforting to note GOI raised funds at 17.5p earlier this year.
Still time to buy at these levels.

GoIndustry plc, the AIM listed industrial machinery and equipment auctioneer,
has raised #5 million through both the placing of 12,000,000 new ordinary shares
of 5p each in the Company ("New Ordinary Shares") at 17.5p per share with UK
institutions and a convertible debt vehicle. The proceeds of the funding will
provide capital to support the Company's growth strategy and will provide
sufficient working capital for the foreseeable future.

sandoval,

Very much a question of taking a smallish punt in a case such as this. The directors buying, strong chart and improved results give cause for hope. Some proper forecasts of EPS figures going forward would give us something a bit more solid to go on.

Very tempted to buy but lack of info - seems they make 10% commission on sales (250 million)but gross profit wiped out by admin exps in the figs I looked at. Obviously someone with more info likes the look of these.

BB,

Looking good indeed. 250k buy showing today, someone is certainly building a stake at the moment. I was thinking of buying a few more but the daily rise with no retreat has kept me away.

How do you value these. What sort of EPS is possible?

Did RHPS quote any targets/forecasts?

The recent rise has been impressive. I suspect with China and extended contracts GOI are beginning to appear on a few radars.

This share price has little history for chartists to get hold of but this is a relatively illiquid stock that can move substantially on relatively little buying.

If an institution wants a piece it will have to pay a fair premium to todays current price.

Looking good

On the move again today. That buy yesterday of 500k at 18p can't have done any harm.

Renewal of multi year Alcoa contract very important in enabling GOI to continue to move the business forwards.

Each piece of news recently is giving real hope that GOI can deliver good profits in the future.

norm4n,

I guessed they had been tipped, but was not aware by whom. I understand that the industrial auction field is pretty fragmented with GOI having made aquisitions in this field. I think that the migration of this kind of auction/ sale online is what makes GOI an interesting niche player.

The problem with GOI was that they came to market and then the results were poor because aquisitions took a bit of time to bed in.

Never going to be as big as Ebay, but still plenty of scope to grow the business and earnings within a fragmented field.

To be honest I hadn't heard of GOI before they were tipped in RHPS last week. Are they the main player in this field?

norm4n,

18p is a level that this share has been at on a number of occasions previously. The downtrend of most of 2006 is now broken and prices tend to recover/ take breathers at levels of old. I would expect this to take a breather at 18p then the next significant level would be to break through the all time highs of around 20p. Once through 20p then who knows.

All IMO of course. Wherever it stops/ rests etc I don't mind too much as we are heading in the right direction! If you're long of course!

Nice 25k MM buy. MM's short of stock it would appear. 18p on the cards soon IMO.

HH, These could offer a good return if the improvement in trading continues after the post aquisition doldrums.

Anyone know the stimulus for todays buys?

Just been looking at Director buys, rather interesting.

They are a nice enough solid small business... 1.6m loss recovery base might suggest next figures could show a 1.8-2m profit (taking business growth into account and current 286k losses).

Seems like a fair enough investment, although I doubt it will be the start of a new ebay!!

for more info:

cheers

Yes Dibbs, patience is paying off nicely with FSG. As for GOI, big buying by the directors not far off year end suggests things are going very well.

Sheik,

Yes, am the same as you. I can find no forecasts. I like what the company does and have bought a few but won't buy too many untill I know more.

Dibbs.

PS you must be pretty happy with FSG!
