Looks like the interim results included a subtle profit warning. But the company fudged it and pretended it was still on track. No quarterly update as usual. A frustrating story.

Bought a few of these earlier in the week at 80p after looking at the last financial report and seeing the share price fall to such a degree. I guess the possibility of Amazon getting involved is a worry, but, I like the relatively low debt level even after a couple of recent acquisitions, also, I can see them growing the dividend especially if they can extract value from said acquisitions. Finally, these also look a candidate for a T/O if there is consolidation in the sector.

Its looks like here that the price is being pushed down by the MMs in anticipation of a bid? Perhaps Amazon will just buy GOCO?

Wish they would let it be taken over!!!! Obviously you have to get Sir Peter Wood on board as he is a major shareholder. Not sure if it is great continually rebuffing offers. Maybe signals that no bidder is willing to make a knock out bid. The offer from ZPG of 110p in cash before was pretty low in my view.

The U.K. insurance comparison company and its board decided to stay independent after holding informal discussions with its advisers and some of the potential bidders

still i'm a bit surprised at it's weakness seems a prime candidate for a takeout at some point

Results are mixed. Adjusted EPS up 18.8% but revenue flat.

It's drifted back on very light volume - normal summer lul. Think you can over analyse these things
