Fantastic timing on chairman's purchase. We all know how difficult it is to time the bottom, but good luck to him for reversing the trend. Lets hope his other plans come to fruition, with the investments planned for 2019

You'd need to message Masurenguy, the thread starter, and ask if he was willing to add them. Or, of course, someone could start a new thread with them in it and see if folk were willing to migrate to it.

Can charts be added in the header? The other BB for GOCO has charts but no-one posts on it!

Morning

I got lucky with my timing a couple of days ago, getting in close to the bottom. Decided to take the handsome profit offered at just over 72p. I think it is probably worth a good deal more-but in these markets, who knows, it might well retreat when the heat comes off it. Anyway a profit is a profit is a profit.

I'll definitely have my eye on it in case it drifts back, in which case as Arnie said: I'll be back :-)

Good fortune to all holders who remain.

Berenberg reiterates buy with a target price of 120p. No I don't invest based on broker forecasts!.

Extraordinary it is the first time I can ever remember a director actually making a comment when purchasing shares. The occasional one mentioning a daughter wedding or tax purposes when selling but never on a purchase.

mammyoko why nothibng mention about Kayne? They bought 3%. They could increase at these prices also.

Regarding a possible sale I view the fact that sir Peter Wood now owns more as a possible catalyst. I will not explain my rationale (you can call me selfish I don't care) but I see this as a positive and not negative as mentioned on a previous post.

Morgan Stanley, Tosca, JP Morgan all out. Plenty of stock around. Will require patience.

It’s funny how we see the sales and people refer to them but where was the purchase of Sit Peter Wood yesterday?... almost 18m shares...

This shoots up 8% and all traders from other boards all of a sudden are interested and make comments about valuation and debt... seriously? Do your own research and read previous post there is no free lunch here

At the right price Sir Peter is no barrier to a takeover IMO.

Price to FCF of less than 10, EV to EBITDA of 8, forward P/E of 8.22 vs historical lows of 13, PEG of 0.97, 3 year CAGR sales growth of 8.67% and EPS growth of 15.8%. All looks good.

Against that, the balance sheet is weak with -NTAV of £65mn at the half-year.

Sir Peter's purchase of £17.8m is as good a demonstration of support as you can get. Deep pockets, wouldn't want to be on the other side of that trade.

But the downsides are a) he is now full up b) it potentially reduces the chance of a takeover c) it reduces free float and liquidity d) it increases the risk of this being taken private at a discount.

Patience needed but think it will be rewarded.

Agree picture.Don't like their current working capital but they are cash generative.Have no issue with the level of debt, 1.5x adjusted EBITDA. personally look for nothing greater than 3x pre tax profit, it's about 2x so okay IMO plus it is to fund (part) acquisitions and growth.

So you challenged someone about 100 thus implying in your opinion it's not worth 100 but have no view on what fair value is here!. So no offence but what then was the point of your posting?, welcome a contrarian view point but don't welcome posts that cannot be supported.

Disco I read the announcement this morning then came to the thread to read the postings.

I have no view on its value but I like the director buys as a potent for the future

Positive announcement that Sir Peter Wood has increased his holding to 29.9%. Like to think this puts a floor under the share price. Compared to Moneysupermarket looks very undervalued.
