09/9/2005 10:15 | Excellent results. Good to see that the company continues to trade strongly. Plenty of upside from here IMO. | billfisher98
05/9/2005 18:52 | Another key difference between PWR and GOAL is that PWR are upgrading their existing sites to 3rd generation pitches, whilst all of GOAL's pitches are already 3rd generation, so this means higher short term capital expenditure for PWR (and therefore proportionately lower profits in the short term) | malc999
05/9/2005 16:38 | can see both goals and PWR being well up after the 8/9 PWR should be on similar rating to Goals so some catching up to be done | chapman123
02/9/2005 12:39 | So many people? A couple of small trades is all that has gone through today. Hardly anything to be concerned about. With the price at an all time high the concensus must be positive, otherwise the price would be moving in the other direction. Good news will send the shares shooting northwards. | billfisher98
02/9/2005 11:42 | why are so many people selling stock with the interim results approaching? | rajbeers
02/9/2005 10:29 | PWR hsa just released its trading stmt and is going upwards on the run upto the results: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 02 September 2005 Powerleague Group plc Trading Update and Notice of Results Powerleague Group plc ("the Company" or "Powerleague"), the market leading operator of 5-a-side football centres in the United Kingdom, will be announcing their maiden preliminary results for the 12 month period ended 30 June 2005 on Wednesday 28 September 2005, which the Directors fully expect to demonstrate encouraging trading in line with market expectations. The Company joined the AIM market in May 2005 with the stated strategy of expanding its existing portfolio of 26 5-a-side football centres. The conditional acquisition from VIDA of four further centres that it announced at the time of its flotation is now complete and have been integrated into the Powerleague estate. The Company is also delighted to announce that the new sites in Basingstoke and Kilmarnock will be opening in mid September, on budget and slightly ahead of schedule. A further five pitches will also open in October at centres where demand is particularly strong. By mid-September the company will be operating a total of 32 5-a-side centres across the UK, representing substantial organic and acquisitive growth since flotation. | unadkat

21/7/2005 19:36 | If todays rise is purely down to this writeup then it's just crazy. There's nothing new in there, all the same information can be gleaned by reading through this thread. All I can hope is that the same people tip one or more of the other shares I have. | myoldmate |
