would have to concurr with waldof here..., CVS will end up with a largish holding..albeit..18% of total equity.. certainly interests me, a different way of doing things in nigeria..?

again, limits v interesting @ sell 2.14 buy at full ask..

Indeed, the CVS shareprice has not followed the path pontificated by Mr R to date, so maybe this will be a redeeming feature and "get out of jail" card.
A White Nile experience for GGT wouldn't go amiss, even if I would only benefit in part!

Not claiming to have 'superior knowledge' Drew'. Simply stating as fact that CVS rate GGT/Sirius big time. That does not make them CORRECT!
But let us hope they are....

I remain sceptical as ever... when I see the proper returns (for CVS), I'll happily bow to those with superior knowledge. CMM results not long away now Waldof, could be interesting.

Well CVS rate this big time, that i do know. (and CVS could do with it big time!)

Sirius shall rise, shining ever so brightly, tomorrow!

And so, 'gaming' disappears, and 'petroleum' appears.

I think we'll be seeing decisive movement tomorrow or wednesday once we see what happens at tomorrow's meeting. Today is the day to take a risk if you believe in the GGT changes that have taken place recently. (Or, obviously) hold on to what you've already accumulated.

have taken a brief glance at canisp .. it looks very similar to ggt..current buisness VoIP.. its a small buisness, shareholding wise it looks like corvus hold around 27-29%.. uncannily similar to GGT, however, it looks like corvus are converting stock @ 1p in CN. (todays price of 0.5p), unlike the ord of GGT..

will take a further look tomorrow..

good luck..

You can be sure that all the Nigerian directors have been thoroughly vetted, followed at all hours of the night, had record and background checks, been scrutinised by the very best private detective agencies, seen how liable they are to blackmail etc etc . One critiscism you could not level against AR is naivety!!
And that is uber important when dealing with Nigerians.

good points mags,

Secondly a director of 23? how much connection/contacts has he really got? or is it the son of the Nigerian oil minister? lol

well, corvus will end up with 18% of the company, after all placings.. clearly potential but not without risk.. a new way of doing things perhaps in Nigeria...?..

have looked at other small resources companies, and their models..

Yes Waldof, another potential multibagger, whose party I am at merely as a result of the man who set up the blind date. However, that shareprice seems anchored and there's literally as many as you want floating about at the moment, so no obvious sign it will firm short term!

I see your point re Nigeria not wishing to be 'conned' as you say.

From the various RNSs one can surmise that the reason for GGT engaging certain Nigerian individuals is their connections -- one of the new directors is just 23!

From what I can see, they are Nigerians. Perhaps the 'connections'/familiarity will give them not only access but also 'comfort factor' vis a vis moral hazard?

Perhaps we can have some confidence in Corvus in so far as they wouldn't have engaged individuals for their 'connections' without first establishing that these connection were indeed bona fide?

Rewards for all concerned could be massive. But not without risk of course.

mag,

what prospect is that?

I know that there was one which is a producing field but this fell through didnt it?

I think if they get a field then good, but oil to flow from it may be another year or so from when they get the field.

Secondly Nigeria a going over alot of the contracts etc.. already awarded and are wary of being conned.

I am in eel which has very large prospects in Nigeria more than 1 or 2 and they are currently at 20p and suspension (lots of reasons behind it but just to say that having the fields does not neccesarily put a rocket in the share price

I wish I did have an idea of timings.

As for share price target: who knows! If a deal does 'click' into place, and oil starts flowing it may race away (I promise I won't blink if reaches £1!!). Just look at how the share price is performing on what are fairly small buys. What's going to happen if huge buy orders come in? The chart appears to be on the verge of an imminent breakout (not guaranteed, of course).

Please also remember that it took directors/Corvus an awful long time to find this prospect. Along the way, who know how many others they rejected. They must be pretty convinced with this one.

Strictly IMO

Thanks mags,

Whats your take on timings of news and any contracts?

Do you see 5p this year?

spurberry

sp

If you look at earlier RNS you'll see directors subscribed fo shares at 1p when the share price was just 0.12p

The new individuals are being offered shares @ par, presumably to attarct them to play pivotal roles in the new 'GGT'.

As for the sp, well isn't that just supply and demand? (There are lots of stocks wher the share price isn't warranted by fundamentals, e.g. most of the would-be pharmas)

Peeps are just not selling. And buyers smell something stupendous, potentially.
