14/8/2008 14:43 | just reading notice of egm rns again. Why would they say that they do not think the value represents the true value of the company and that they want shares to be issued at a measly some? Will shareholders be happy that they pay multipals of what the directors value the company at and that they are giving these away cheaply to directors and others!!! I apologise if I am wrong but anyone have answers to this? | spurberry
14/8/2008 13:53 | another premium buy.. all a risk on AIM these days.. management have to be interested in the equity and creating shareholder value (be that of any AIM company) saffy.. | safman
14/8/2008 13:14 | Name me a stock without risk Drew'. If you don't fancy this you should most certainly NOT be in CVS. They do, and they see this as one of the future key drivers of the CVS s/p. Along with DTEC. (Don't forget lilttle 'ole CN. either) | waldof
14/8/2008 12:57 | Still think there's an awful lot of unknowns with the Nigerian connection. Clearly potentially very lucrative, but there no way this is without risk. | the drewster
14/8/2008 12:22 | the chart is at a v interesting point, and looks like the share price wants to move to the 2p+ level (which isn't very far anyway). If the next move is of the same magnitude as the last (very unlikely) then we would at the 17p level! Wouldn't THAT be luvverly! IMO | 2magpies
14/8/2008 12:14 | and another, .. as it comes closer to EGM.. saffy.. | safman
14/8/2008 12:14 | Name change should be positive. | 2magpies
14/8/2008 12:06 | no predictions, but a few premium buys going through over the last few days..300k @1.8p.. saffy... | safman
14/8/2008 11:27 | Thanks Saf, I cant see a name change and director appointments doing much to the sp, think that is all in there already. Do you or anyone else know /predict when we will here anything on contracts etc.. I think 10p that is being mentioned may be possible if succesfull but this could be next year etc.. Any views on situation/timings/sp predictions etc... | spurberry
14/8/2008 10:50 | spur, the EGM has been convened for this upcoming tuesday, i.e dir appointments, and i think, name change as well... saffy.. | safman
14/8/2008 10:46 | anyone here? | spurberry
14/8/2008 08:00 | when are people expecting news or update here? Anyone in contact with the management? | spurberry
10/8/2008 21:19 | VB 12p short term? Yes please. TD If it was well known, everybody would be after them. | 2magpies
09/8/2008 17:35 | Vista, talk of any appreciation in share price is pie-in-the-sky until we know how the new Nigerian shareholders are linked to people you'd want to be linked to when exploring oil in nigeria. At the moment, I can only see they have been liquidated on more than one occassion, which hardly inspires confidence. If it turned out that one or more of them had significant influence within the oil ministry, then fantastic, but if they do, it is being well hidden. | the drewster
09/8/2008 14:07 | I think this will become one of my favorite shares soon :) I've got loads of these and with the Nigerian deal on the horizon, and the name change, a step change to a new trading level will be required. I'd expect to see 12pence short term, but with an energy investment company in todays climate, this can only go up. The director appointments are encouraging, and I think the fact that we have moved trading ranges from 0.1 - 1.5 pps shows what's possible. The fact is, this company's time is due and I'm in for the duration. Recent buying shows strength and we'll be reaping rewards soon enough. | vistaboy
08/8/2008 21:48 | TD GGT directors took an awful long time (and don't I know it!) to find a deal they could enter into. Don't forget directors subscribed for share @1p not long ago ( when the share price was just 0.12p!) The current sp, IMO, has nothing to do with 'assets' but purely supply and demand (excuse the obvious). If the Nigerian connection does indeed come to proper fruition, then the current share price will seem ridiculously low, as we look back and smile with, wishing we had pile in when the share price was so low. That is an 'if', of course. | 2magpies
08/8/2008 10:14 | The directors were keen to state that allowing the new shares to be issued at par (0.25p) was appropriate in their view because the company had very limited assets to justify the current share price What we really need to understand is why the new directors (whose previous forays into directorship seem to have led to nothing more than work for the receivers) should justify us paying multiple times the underlying asset price for. Exactly who are these guys in favour with in the Nigerian Oil ministry that makes them worth having on board, and giving away such a chunk of the company for the priviledge?? | the drewster
07/8/2008 15:27 | Will Nigerian punters start piling into these, in advance of possibly amazing things to come? Is word getting around? I for one wouldn't be surprised. IMO pdyor | 2magpies
04/8/2008 13:49 | afternoon guys.. very thin trading on the markets ..it seems.. some trading here.. good luck.. saffy.. | safman
01/8/2008 16:02 | thanks saf have a good weekend | spurberry
01/8/2008 15:57 | "why do you say your in by being a little lucky?" because i read the interims, when no-one was interested... in terms of hearing, you know just as much as me, .. but when investing in AIM, certain things to look out for , hence i, normally have a set of rules / guidelines that work for me... the problem with AIM,is that it is risky, and v. speculative, hence, even more so with the credit crunch, ... but i reckon there are opportunities as well.. good luck..off for the weeknend.. saffy.. | safman
01/8/2008 15:50 | why do you say your in by being a little lucky? is that because you have been in since early days? Do you think we could hear something soon? | spurberry
01/8/2008 15:42 | spur..it was the volume that followed it.. the potential for GGT, is that it could possibly be worth quite a bit, hence the speculative nature... i'm here, by virtue of being a little lucky..so am following this one... saffy.. | safman
01/8/2008 15:38 | sorry saf, it was a serious question if there was a million buy at 1.35 fair enough but what caused the rise from 1.2 to 1.35? | spurberry
01/8/2008 15:30 | spur, are u on prozac..?.. for christ sake man.... saffy!... | safman |
