17/6/2008 08:21 | Same old story here, bought £10k of RKH for 54p, as they were on the move bottle went when the shares went to 52p got out @ evens. They went to £1.20 in almost 2 weeks. grrrrr | sivewright27
17/6/2008 08:16 | 50,000 shares at 1p is only £500. Im the same boat, since I been tempted since 0.11p, and I did not. I am not gutted, since in the last 10 years im well used to this sort of thing happening about 20 times over to me. Secondaly every time I either held a wonder stock I sold before it turned into one at a loss. Just some I remember that I have had, £4,000 in GFM @4p and £2,000 in QXL @180p, but I also lost out on 40 grand on shorts last year, that I should of kept and now I am skint. | lord santafe

17/6/2008 07:21 | to get 30% on ca 330k traded so far (light volume really), is good going. says to me they're short of stock* imagine if we had 2 or 3 x 500k buys, what would that do to the price? * = or are there other trades still to report? nia dyor | andrbea

17/6/2008 06:03 | todays express. market report by david shand. Share Whisper. shell compay , global gamming, gained 0.15 p to 0.65p yesterday, on hope of an acquisition in the oil and gas industry. the company recently raised £250,000 through a placing at 1p and is rumoured to be lining up a senior board appointment. | saloch
16/6/2008 22:00 | d6 Not latest, but previous. Not failed, but never got beyond a cursory look. Latest target ('more attractive') still being assessed. ANY oil producer would be capitalised @ more than £1m (or even £2m). Imagine if the better target is therefore a bigger producer: what would that mean in terms of $140 per barrel? As has been said before, the question is why did director pay ELEVEN times more than the prevailing price? Are you seriously trying to value this stock as though it was a FTSE company? | 2magpies
16/6/2008 19:18 | So with new shares, the current mc is circa £2mln. £250k (possibly) sitting in the bank. Latest RTO target failed. Hmm. | double6
16/6/2008 16:03 | thank you i will put these on hold and like everybody here remain hopefull, may luck be with us!!! | alby220
16/6/2008 15:50 | and watch for a pattern of trades too in the last week someone picks up stock in scattered trades of 100k and last week, there was a pattern too of 500k trades. stakebuilding perhaps? | andrbea
16/6/2008 15:44 | Andrbea, You're right and I spotted that too. The fact that they've ditched the other pursuit and are "focusing on other opportunities considered to be more attractive" means there is obviously something in the pipeline - and it's that sentiment that driving us forward (and upward). I strongly believe that the last run of RNSs (this year) show a real potential, and not just for these smallish swings, but looking more at 5-10 pence in the next few months. 12 pence is where we came from and that again is achievable. | vistaboy
16/6/2008 15:22 | it's about the third time this June that it's risen sharply in the last hour of the afternoon it's really 'a teatime & cookies' share this one :-) 2 things sustain interest: the 1p placing (a fact) and the intriguing bit (for me at least) in the RNS: .... "and GGT is focusing on other opportunities considered to be more attractive, it said." nia dyor | andrbea
16/6/2008 15:15 | I think in the short term, 1 - 1.5 pence in not unrealistic. Long term, sky's the limit. | vistaboy
16/6/2008 15:10 | ...what oil?.....LOL | haff1
