Does anyone know if there is a link to show how many shares they have bought back so far? Also, how many more outstanding?

1corrado,Yes you surely can.You could even buy GLEN on Sep 5.and sell it on Sep 7 and still get the Dividend on Sep 27 I believe,but would need that confirmed.

Can I buy share on the 05-09 and still get the dividend paid on the 25-09 assuming that I will keep the share after the ex-dividend date on the 06-09?

Glencore Plc has announced a Cash Distribution from capital contribution reserves. Under the official terms of the distribution, entitled shareholders will be issued with USD0.10 in cash for each share held.

Shortly after the ex-entitlement date we will issue a notification providing full details. For multi-currency account holders we will also be making available an option to receive your cash proceeds in GBP.

5p on 5000 gives 250 quid less dealing costs of 20 quid with no stamp duty. I'm doing this with about 25000 Glen and works well apart from when it plummetd for a week
