84stewart, GLEN would be down a lot more than 1%,if they were going to bid for AAL. GLEN is down in line with the Copper price.

BHP have until 1700hrs tonight to improve offer ,No extension ,so hopefully Glen won’t chip in with a higher offer putting them further in Debt.

i am sure it will ,down to the Chinese on Friday,Glen will only cherry pick Anglo south Africa operations .it won't be easy, Africa government won't sit back knowing they be a vacuum of money going out of the country, which is the biggest industry they got.

GLEN hope do not bid. BHP extended bid deadline and price goes up rather than coming down if they are going to up the bid. Very strange.
