Watching all minors and waiting for an opportunity to buy.Depends on who bids what next.BHP boss was in SA and they look serious enough likely to come back with increased offer before 22nd May.

I hold more AAL than GLEN so have mixed feelings about this news.

If GLEN do bid I kind of think it's in the price now and if the deal goes through then I own one less miner so will build out a long term position here and with RIO.

It pays to be diversified I think not only amongst sectors but within them too.

Yes thinking of selling my holding and buying more Anglo Glencore shares ownership of Chilean copper mine with Anglo and good relations with pic/sa government.More likely to get approval from sa gvt

It would have to be imo an all share offer which would dilute Glen by 30-40% in shares, Glasenberg would in my option vote against it

Yeah no bid for AAL by GLEN in my opinion as they have enough on their plate right now.

I hope not. Otherwise debt is already on the high side after Canadian Coal bid from T3ck. AAL bidding will drown GLEN under Debt mountain and bidder may become a pray itself.

Copper still up. Bidding by BHP to aquire AAL for copper assets. Inflation is still high. EV production increasing.. at still GLEN is down..??
