This made me laugh so much. I've been moving 300k+ in and out GSK for years now, sometimes more successfully than others. Let me guarantee you, you can trade this and make money. It's been reasonably predictable particularly over the last year or so, that is about to change though - forming the JV will start to throw in a very new dynamic.

rubbish, its a perfect trading stock, completely range bound, you buy sub 1520 and sell 15.90 plus, I have done it extremely profitably numerous times over the last 18 months and am up just over 32k trading profits on gsk, plus some dividends, in fact if its dividends you want there are far better plays. It isnt a growth stock, this is no Astra.

Glaxo offers concessions to address Pfizer deal concerns

The European Commission says GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE:GSK) has offered concessions to address European Union antitrust concerns over its planned joint venture with Pfizer's (NYSE:PFE) consumer health business.

The EU competition enforcer will decide by July 10 whether to accept the proposal or open a full-scale investigation.

GSK and PFE announced their JV plans late last year, and GSK said at the time it aimed to divest assets worth ~£1B during 2019-20.
