24/4/2017 16:05 | Some small resistance @ 1592p & 1596p, main resistance 1600p Should take out these levels in the short term | ny boy
24/4/2017 15:40 | Sold a few more at 1588.75, that is going to either look very cheap or expensive come results. Would be handy if I knew in advance which it would be ). | essentialinvestor

24/4/2017 10:56 | I remember anhar TM, I believe he was elderly like myself and I wonder if he is still with us? | sicker
24/4/2017 09:59 | Thanks, EI - a nice little article, with positive sentiment. (especially like the 20% upside potential). | tradermichael
24/4/2017 09:49 | Michael, there is an article over on Seeking Alpha from February 23rd which is worth a read titled " GSK's valuation is compelling". Just click on the analysis tab and you can see it. Holding in the quantity you are, you may already have read it ). | essentialinvestor
24/4/2017 09:39 | LOL - yes, but an assured dividend makes a difference (remember Anhar?). | tradermichael
24/4/2017 09:36 | Wo, that takes some nerve!.. | essentialinvestor
24/4/2017 09:31 | All good here as well, adding on dips using dividend income (£30K pa). Trading wherever possible, but always back in time for dividends, so effectively holding for long term, great opportunity. GSK is my largest holding (by far), with 36,069 shares...... ;0) | tradermichael
24/4/2017 08:26 | Speaking of which - thank you very much for the Aintree Iron ) Sold some more, kept 35%. | essentialinvestor
24/4/2017 08:23 | Off to the races, markets like the French election results (part 1) and buyers are piling back in on recent pull backs. French elections were seen as a possible market problem area, moving to a rear view mirror event. | ny boy
24/4/2017 08:21 | Lovely, sold a few. | essentialinvestor
22/4/2017 11:06 | Dr, in terms of risk, it's relative imv. I would never hold WPCT or ALM even in small quantities. GSK gives biotech exposure, coupled with established pharma with multiple collaborations. Development of their oncology programme underscores this, largely starting from scratch having exchanged established cancer drugs in the NVS asset They look to be targeting 3rd generation immunotherapy compounds, as earlier generations often have unhelpful side effect profiles this may pay off, however very early days. GSK presented at a recent oncology conference detailing their early pipeline, slides were posted on Seeking Alpha from memory, worth a look. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 20:18 | Dr, would not be as brave Michael, he must watch the basket very carefully!. Once GSK are over the Advair patent bump there are no other major patent expiries until late 2020's, that is what strokes me. Although Tim might be right on 1520, find out next week. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 18:53 | GSK is one of my largest holdings, and I have around 650 of them. You guys are either much richer than me, or have too many eggs in one basket....it's about 5% of my ISA, though given that I have a lot of Woodford and other funds that hold them it may be a bit higher. Given my track record, smaller holdings are better than large ones | dr biotech
21/4/2017 15:40 | Well I'm about at my limit now, may be another 500 shares, that's it. Notice AZN is coming back a bit, thought that would be near or under £40, instead it reached about £50, somehow. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 14:36 | All good here, add on dips, hold for long term, great opportunity. Decent divi to keep the long termers content, mainly holding for a takeover, which I see highly likely to happen this year. | ny boy
21/4/2017 11:21 | Teva inhaler launch is weighing atm. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 09:00 | I see 1520p short term. It is overcast today. | montyhedge
21/4/2017 08:53 | monty, Tim mentioned 1520 and have to admit thinking at the time.. very unlikely, not so sure on that now, but keeping the faith ) Bit overcast in Weybridge this AM!. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 08:51 | With uncertainty, with elections, Brexit etc, £ getting stronger.Traders sell liquid stocks like GSK get some money in. I think it's more technical GSK falling. | montyhedge
21/4/2017 08:18 | Ex divi 12 May ...3 weeks time | ny boy
21/4/2017 08:17 | razzle dazzle, well done on your trade. | essentialinvestor
21/4/2017 08:13 | Well second half of my short trade closed out at 1565 for another decent profit , a 100 point trade which I'm really pleased with. That's me standing to one side with GSk and waiting for now. Good luck guys that still have positions with either a long or a short. | bigdazzler
