15/3/2018 08:46 | They already had a memorandum of understanding. This should have been followed by a binding agreement or an announcement that the talks had ended in failure. I see the market is punishing them severely for this - and rightly so. They'll salami- slice every aspect of a mining operation and release an RNS saying a memorandum of understanding has been reached. Next up will be a MOU on the weekly contributions for the office tea club. | 5trelok
15/3/2018 08:30 | The Russians have us over a barrel - There is nothing we can do except get shafted (imo) Bargepole comes to mind - or else the resource is lenticular and significant amount of waste needed to be removed to access the higher grades - requirement for extra drilling almost suggests that this might be the case. | pugugly
15/3/2018 08:24 | Greg needs to go, get someone with balls to deal with these Russians | gkp heros
15/3/2018 08:23 | Shocking... time for new management Shareholders need to revolt | saw89
15/3/2018 08:16 | Very disappointing update given the length of time that has passed. Real potential value in the assets here but the management just don't seem that interested in pushing the company forwards - I suspect this is largely because GEO isn't their day job. | 2lb
15/3/2018 08:12 | I reckon it will be 4 months work at most. They're not starting from scratch. Drilling will take 2 months as stated in the RNS and the other items will be carried out in parallel. Preliminary feasibility studies have already been completed. | sclper
15/3/2018 08:10 | Directors talk. | rampair
15/3/2018 08:07 | But that 2 years away because of... The initial phase, mining and processing of the gold oxide ore from GZ2, is subject to and conditional upon completing: -- Additional in-fill drilling at GZ2, and a final Resource estimate compliant with the JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Reporting Code; -- Bulk sampling and additional metallurgical testwork; -- A positive Feasibility Study (including an agreed mine plan and design) into the mining and processing of the Ore; -- Obtaining additional permits relating to GZ2 extraction, such as an environmental permit, construction permits, etc (note the License already includes permission for mining); and -- Signing of the final MPA and any associated additional contracts between the Parties to give effect to mining and processing the Ore. | sleveen
15/3/2018 08:06 | This'll finish red. | the deacon
15/3/2018 08:03 | this will move up from here, drop from 27p well overdone. see a bounce to 15p short term | ssrover
15/3/2018 07:59 | Use some common sense. We were waiting for a signed agreement. Google MoU. This has not advanced proceedings since December statement. | artyth2
15/3/2018 07:27 | Still significant time away from meaningful production. Initial processing will be gold ore only. Lots of regulatory hurdles. Wouldn't surprise me to see a raise next. | the deacon
15/3/2018 07:15 | Any processing and hence cash generation is at least 18 months and probably 2 years away, given all the conditions to be satisfied before processing occurs. The biggie being the FS: The Parties have agreed that the Ore from KBE will be mined and then hauled and processed at one of RMG's processing plants. The initial phase, mining and processing of the gold oxide ore from GZ2, is subject to and conditional upon completing: -- Additional in-fill drilling at GZ2, and a final Resource estimate compliant with the JORC (2012) Mineral Resource Reporting Code; -- Bulk sampling and additional metallurgical testwork; -- A positive Feasibility Study (including an agreed mine plan and design) into the mining and processing of the Ore; -- Obtaining additional permits relating to GZ2 extraction, such as an environmental permit, construction permits, etc (note the License already includes permission for mining); and -- Signing of the final MPA and any associated additional contracts between the Parties to give effect to mining and processing the Ore. | sleveen
