Not exactly the best piece of timing I've ever managed in terms of an entry price , and the silence is a tad alarming if only because all attempts to contact the company have hit a brick wall.

May have to accept this as a failed attempt to diversify my copper exposure.

Lesson to self - if the CEO looks and acts like a bit of a slimy so and so, then avoid in future.

Obviously the FCA these days are a bit less dopey than they perhaps used to be, and I've heard for a fact they check out the individual making the complaint too. So as long as for example you haven't tried to use multiple usernames on any site while having a position in the shares, you'll be absolutely fine. :-)

If the next RNS isn't confirming finalisation of the production agreement, it's curtains.

Those who participated in the last placing at 16p have done their brains; I don't think they'll be queuing up to go again.

Maybe there should be a new sector designation for this type of company because they're certainly not miners - news-flow companies or RNS companies, maybe.

There's no handbags from my side - I just raised a matter that should be of concern to anyone invested here. My bringing it to the FCA's attention will be to everyone's benefit and if it means GEO is on their radar henceforth, it won't have been a waste of time. I'll post their reply as soon as I get one.

I didn't say that "what people think is a matter for the authorities". I said "if true" and "if there is any substance to" - fact remains, it's a heck of a thing to ponder, as earthling did, on a message board whether an investor has been insider trading. Earthling's not my chum - but I'd bet money that he's yours.

FCA are not remotely interested in what bulletin board posters think or speculate. Evidence, now that might be different but he provides none; 'think' - afraid not!

I appreciate you might be a beginner in the stock market, but you really need to learn the ropes before saying that what people think is a matter for authorities. What if i think you're shorting because you've spoken to the company? Do I report it?

Course not. That's equally as irrelevant as what your chum thinks.

Came across the same in one of those 'penny dreadfuls' recently, forget which one, Blu maybe or some such. Anyway, one poster twisting what others said and claiming they were the same person. Another timewaster!

earthling over on lse seems to be suggesting Mr Packwood has had communications with the company which informed his big buy:

"share holder main holding is good news as I think its very unlikely he would have done so without due diligence and communication with the company.

Maybe he knows something we don't yet."

If there is any substance to earthling's speculation, that would be insider trading, I'm afraid.
