05/11/2013 13:49 | That'll be it. A sniff of good news materialising re: receivables & it's whoosh & off to the races, graph sez 'interesting' | sir rational
05/11/2013 12:11 | Good to see a few buys this a.m. Early birds for the trading update? | eric76
29/10/2013 15:25 | some people prefer to buy in round numbers. others prefer to invest a certain amount of money. no particular significance. it all depends how a person's ocd manifests itself. | zangdook
29/10/2013 15:18 | Being relatively new to this share dealing malarkey can anyone tell me what it signifies when the quantity of shares bought are a rounded figure, eg 10,000, 20,000, 50,000 etc? Are these being bought by institutions? Thanks in anticipation..... | muddystone
29/10/2013 09:03 | thanks - my mistake | janeann
29/10/2013 08:53 | Next week? Optimism! In my experience late November = 29th/30th, mid November is 20th-28th and early November is... sometime in December. :-P | edmundshaw
29/10/2013 08:21 | Janeann, GNG have already told us on 26th September: "The Company will provide a detailed interim trading update in early November and expects to announce interim results for the six months ending 30 September 2013 in mid-December 2013, which we expect to be in line with our expectations." So hopefully the trading update will be next week. | rivaldo
29/10/2013 07:47 | Well I was hoping for a tradng update to today, although looking back it was at 1pm last year. So perhaps later. | janeann
24/10/2013 08:49 | I'm thinking 6 months previous | sir rational
24/10/2013 08:37 | if you look at the collapse in bsst it started well before the rns = leak RNS at 09.56 first trade at 10.02 the day before there were two smallish buys; the day before that nothing; on Friday a few sells were most likely profit-taking after the rise. I don't see a leak. | zangdook
24/10/2013 08:27 | The fibs don't lie, H2O | sir rational
24/10/2013 08:22 | Last years Nov TU came on Mon 29th Oct!!! | h2owater
24/10/2013 08:04 | BACK UPTO 10P | falia
23/10/2013 13:48 | gng has nothing to do with bsst bounce on the cards, if you look at the collapse in bsst it started well before the rns = leak some might argue it started a lot further back than that gng could easily resume interest going in towards the update | sir rational
23/10/2013 10:15 | Price has been marked down because of BSST. Common sense will prevail and we should bounce. | bene449
23/10/2013 10:08 | I analysed BSST about 2 years ago and concluded that it was a con - because of the receivables. They are taking it out for a few hundred £k. Basically, trouser a few million over a few years - when there's no chance of screwing shareholders any more - spend a small fraction of that taking it private (and thus hiding the evidence). | augustusgloop
23/10/2013 10:02 | Just to add, I hate it when people imply there's a read-across between very different Chinese companies, but the existence of the receivables makes it worth mentioning here, ISTM. | zangdook
23/10/2013 10:01 | BSST is delisting and tendering at about 60% of this morning's share price. I know the structure of the share register is different here but watch out for shenanigans in case they manage to get around that. I know plenty of these foreign AIM companies with substantial management holdings have done this delist-and-tender before but never so blatant as that at ripping off the poor PI. BSST is another with huge receivables just waiting to be collected. | zangdook
23/10/2013 09:24 | And just when it was looking safe to go out of the tent.... ....more selling @ 6.5p | fillipe
22/10/2013 11:00 | Somehow you have to get those to show in the header as 2 images | sir rational |
