Reverse head and shoulders forming on the chart. More convincing as it's formed in a slight uptrend ( no laughs ) nothing certain but it suggests a break through 100p is imminent.

cyan , I agree with you BP want to see the results from the EPS then they will take out HUR , they will not be bothered if they pay a lot more then than they could now as the risk will be gone in 3 or 4 years time.

Back to genl.Great api numbers. Oil back over 48. Should really be over 50. Let's see what happens.Looking forward to a more general update.Re reading 2014 results they were targeting 200,000 bopd from tawke. Throw peshkibar in the mix is that now on the table?!

Cyan big oil are risk averse and in North Sea terms hur are doing something 'new' I suspect they are onto something, but the number of times bp miss opportunities only to go back later and pay more is scary. I'm pretty sure hur are sitting on world class assets.. they just raised 520 million which is pretty impressive so we will soon find out!

I understand that big oil went through the data room info a number of times. If the farmin case was a slam dunk; they would be in now.

I think the questions remain geological and fast depletion rates which I understand fractured basins are known for.

I am in JOG ; an ultra small oil company that attracted Statoil to farmin to a one in three shot spending $25million plus. The first such NS action in a couple of years and they are drilling this summer.

My point is; surely if HUR's FB with massive proven volumes has NOT attracted a penny from big oil; there are issues holding them back.

Re HUR - BP will take them out on the future , they're actively looking to expand WOS.

I have to say I have become a little concerned regarding his promoting of HUR. He has not properly highlighted critical risks with that company and its fractured basin discoveries.

His continual emphasizing the multi bag potential and the quoting of enormous future share prices is reckless imo.

The clue that not everything is entirely straight forward is evidenced there by the big oilers failing to buy into the story. Effectively they have said to HUR ; prove that you can make FB work economically. It has not before in UK waters. And what of the POO risk with their models break-even of $37?.

The management has had to go it alone and raise funds via bonds. The bond holders are in the driving seat now and the shareholders are not important anymore.

It may be that HUR will work and the share holders are well rewarded or , there is a chance HUR will not be able to produce the consistent flows with out lots more expensive drilling. If big oilers are not touching that should be a cautionary red flag.

Here is a link to Malcy's latest blog;

Nothing specific to us but there's his blog for what it is worth.

"
About Malcy
Malcolm has over 30 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas sector and is a widely used media source. He often appears in print and on screen, and also writes an acclaimed daily blog read by much of the resources industry as well as investors both institutional and retail.

Malcolm is a Founding Partner of HydroCarbon Capital, which provides independent advisory services to the Oil and Gas sector. He is a Director of the Maven Income and Growth VCT 4 PLC, a venture capital trust listed on the Premium segment of the main market of the London Stock Exchange.

He started his career at Wood Mackenzie in 1979. He was an inaugural member of the No 1 Extel rated James Capel Oil & Gas team and also headed up corporate broking, acting for the Government in sales of British Gas, Britoil and other utilities. Subsequently he became Head of Equities and main board Director at Williams de Broe before moving to Teather & Greenwood. Following that, he ran his own consultancy for several years, acting for a number of quoted and private companies as well as being a board member and advisor. He has been a Director at Noble and then Westhouse Securities and has extensive contacts in the Oil & Gas sector globally. More recently Malcolm has been the lead advisor to an HSBC Zurich trust on oil, gas and energy investments as well as working with the oil team at VSA Capital."

I actually enjoy Malcy and there are useful revalations. HOWEVER; I consider him like an advocate; a good lawyer presenting best cases for his clients.
He can over ramp IMO.
