It's useful to see the bear case as WJ points out.

the payments are very good news this am- if they keep continuing fully and on time the rest will follow.

They stayed around this time last year back payments would be an additional 5% of the gross revenue received on top of what the IOCs were entitled to as standard. It was a omething like that.

wj- for someone who has owns no share here, you certainly spend a lot of time trying to bait longs- thats not a pleasant personality trait to have.

Its obviously not the payments holding this back, its the
runaway train coming down the track.

Adh0, thanks for that, so approx $7m paid about 1/50th of the outstanding amount, better than nothing I suppose. But at least with the regular payments coming in it MUST be a good sign. Surprised no movement though in the share price.

Sorry for asking, but does anyone know where we can find out what payments are still outstanding?

I saw GENL got payment for NOV 2016 for both Taq Taq and Tawke fields but it also mentioned that these payments included amounts for "historical receivables".

How much is still owed apart from DEC 2016 and JAN 2017?
I could not find this information (albeit I never looked that hard).
I did try phoning the company but got no reply.

We know production was down so we definitely got paid more...

Well that is remarkably good news...

A) It is another payment, it can not be stressed enough how much simply getting paid regularly is the single most important factor here.
B) Output did decline again at TaqTaq coming in at approx 45bopd some 10% down mom with October (and remember in March 2016 it was around 75bopd!) BUT production was up at Tawke. Over the two production was slightly ahead on October. Arguably production levels may have plateaued and next months figures will help confirm this.
C) They recieved more $s than I was expecting, November had a considerably lower $s oil price than they got for October, and Decembers average is even higher again. Although in these RNS they do not say what oil price they actually got!
