We will catch up, hopefully. We are in an uptrend. We are awaiting the gas deal news for Bina Bawi. That could add a pound to the shareprice in a flash. But we remain unloved, not least by nicsig who doesn't update the oil charts any more. And by Hawkey2 who no longer updates and pastes his "reasons to be cheerful". Well the unloved shares are sometimes the best so here's to hoping.

The KRG have had historical issues with cash flows and this has, for periods of time, impacted payments to the producing companies.

Its a mystery to me why the KRG have not yet agreed terms with GENL to exploit the gigantic gas resources that could provide massive revenues for may years to come.
You would think it would be a priority .

I have been waiting years to see the gas reserves unlocked as their revenues would be transformational to our company and would see us, imo, way North of £4 a share.

Brent was 54/55 in January. So next payment I would expect at least 7.5 million in debt repaid.

Not so sure about my own calculations. At the current repayment rate $2.4m per month, it would take >5 years to get back the full receivables reconciliation. What I don't know is how to find out the monthly Brent average that is applied to the formula.

January (in GKP RNS)

The receivable recovery payment relates to unpaid invoices from 2019 and 2020. For each cent above a monthly dated Brent average of USD50/bbl, 0.5 cent per paying interest barrel produced will be paid towards monies owed.

Just as an example, if Brent was $60 and static, it would take about 3 years for the reconciliation amount of $159m to be paid. At 60 we get $5 per barrel extra toward this. Of course the price of Brent will vary, and production working interest will hopefully increase, so it may be shorter.
