| 16/4/2009 20:54 | MMs must still be holding quite a bit of stock given todays' trading figures. How can someone buy 280K and trade inside the spread? Everytime I have tried to buy a large block of prefs recently I have been clobbered on the price!!! Anyway adds confidence and a lot less shares floating around after tradin today. | gary1966 | |
| 14/4/2009 09:20 | This morning I've bt some more Aviva Prefs - this time the Gen. Accident 8.875% Cum. Irred. @ 83.5 = Gross 84.07 for a yield of 10.55% - cheaper than AV.A at the moment and also full of dividend (xd in mid-May). MMs had taken onboard quite a lot of stock - inc. a sale of 250k @ 82.5p on 3rd April. Stock seems to have been absorbed, so the share price might now recover to more "normal" levels. | skyship |
