Posted at 01/3/2024 01:57 by hooray1x well he has posted he has bought for the swing back to 100p, obviously lots of people switching from gacb would drive the price of aewu up.... |
Posted at 29/2/2024 16:28 by dlp6666 @Skyship - how confident are you that the current dividend (and thus high yield) will actually be maintained? The market doesn't seem to be (but may, of course, be wrong!). |
Posted at 29/2/2024 14:00 by skyship IMO at the moment the Aviva prefs not offering value.Seek a good bid for GACB xd; & switch into AEWU - a secure REIT on a 21% discount; but more importantly, on a 9.45% yield. Never been so cheap...I hold. (Yld @ 113.25p xd = 6.95%) |
Posted at 30/1/2024 17:15 by yf23_1 You have to take 2p off the AV.B price and 1.75p off GACB because they are timewise more in the divi than the A's comparatively. |
Posted at 30/1/2024 15:38 by crt131 Since Skyship not around for a while I will have a go..Prices based on buy price of 10K Shares and not including tax or dealing costs. AV.A - 129.48 (6.76% yield) AV.B - 126.80 (6.60% yield) GACA - 126.24 (7.03% yield) GACB - 118.05 (6.67% yield) As usual GACA appear best bet, but also consider that they don't go ex-div until June. Cheers CRT |
Posted at 29/11/2023 11:17 by skyship Yields at offer prices:# AV.A 8.75% @ 131.65p-133.3p = 6.56% # AV.B 8.375% @ 121.25p-123.5p = 6.78% # GACA 8.875% @ 124.0p-125.5p = 7.07% # GACB 7.875% @ 112.0p-114.0p = 6.91% AV.A & GACA both go XD tomorrow (30/11/23) |
Posted at 02/10/2023 09:05 by return_of_the_apeman Is the divi due today?Tia |
Posted at 28/6/2023 13:42 by crt131 I hope the price stays low until I get my GACA div in a few days. If it goes lower I might even move some more funds in here as its a good no-nonsense dividend payerGLA CRT |
Posted at 28/6/2023 11:53 by cassini nerja,I got an effective yield of about 8.25% on GACA back in ~March (if I include knocking most of the divi off my purchase price, as it was ex- less than a month after my buy). It'd be nice to get a similar yield on GACB but your seller is easing off at the moment. I agree, below par would be nice ;0) |
Posted at 24/4/2023 12:11 by ramellous Just sold GACB at 111 and put it into GACA At 1.2287. Will get the GACA divi in July for no loss (actually about £5 more) when taking into account the spread and stamp duty than holding out for the GACB div in October. A nice dividend arbitrage opportunity. |
