30/6/2015 16:30 | higher value stones fetching premium prices . hxxp://www.pricescop Results have been better than good last couple of years. Tobin's Q ratio minute. Remains under researched and undervalued. One day | undervaluedassets
25/6/2015 14:58 | Searching a new area this year and plenty of cash on hand also. I'm in at 140 ,hoping for a bounce .A good medium to long term prospect, also with dividend and further chance of finding some treasure soon. | siboat
25/6/2015 09:10 | Back to 140 AGAIN! Honestly! I am more annoyed with myself for staying invested than anything else. | salpara111
17/6/2015 11:20 | Sold my lot this am. Better opportunities elsewhere. | airwalk1971
17/6/2015 09:29 | All rather disappointing I had hoped for a climb back to the 180 area at which point I would have got out but it is now looking like it cant break the 160 level. I am also rather uneasy about the fact that they have not found any really high value stones in almost a year given how dependent they are on them for profitability. I guess I am now at the point where I will sell if I see a better opportunity elsewhere. | salpara111
15/6/2015 08:34 | Okay, thanks. | alex1621
14/6/2015 12:40 | Small Company Sharewatch, a subscription magazine, monthly. Over the last twenty odd years, I have seen a multitude of tipsheets, the vast majority of which are garbage. While SCSW is by no means infallible, it is the only one i subscribe to, although with the caveat that you have to be VERY selective. I keep a separate portfolio of the SCSW stocks which I have purchased which is up 118% over the last two years, though most of the gains were in the first year. They have also recd. some dogs so beware, but a really good source to begin research. (It was just an outside hunch of mine, and probably wishful thinking, that they might have picked this up, but in retrospect, it's probably not really their sort of thing.) | cestnous
13/6/2015 14:23 | Thanks. SCSW? | alex1621
13/6/2015 13:59 | Spot on airwalk. Nothing from SCSW. | cestnous
12/6/2015 22:01 | You can't unless you have level 2 order book. It's all guessed by computers by the bid/offer price.I wouldn't worry about it if i were you. I don't. | airwalk1971
12/6/2015 15:32 | Yes, possibly. Where can you get accurate stats? | alex1621
12/6/2015 15:21 | If you're going by the ADVFN trades page, Alex, it's hopelessly inaccurate. | cestnous
12/6/2015 14:22 | A great deal of selling, but share price has hardly moved? | alex1621
10/6/2015 13:07 | Looking perky this afternoon. Somebody found a biggie? | cestnous

22/5/2015 07:32 | Ghaghoo is in its early stages so its normal it will take some time to develop. The key for me was the fact its progressing to plan and expectations are in line. Diamond mining is not a quick in and out venture; it's a long term process which (the expereinced) management are confident shall yield significant finds. As this and other econmies grow stronger, the demand for good quality stones can only increase. Also, traditional wedding and Asian gifting periods are usually in the second half of the year which is likely to increase demand. | prita
21/5/2015 17:54 | Well, it wasn't exactly a brilliant finish to the day. I thought the results were okay, although I too was also a little concerned about Ghaghoo. It's early days there however, and I'm going to hold for a while longer, at least until the interim results in a few months' time. | alan@bj
21/5/2015 09:22 | Salpara - not sure that I understand your point? Do you believe that the current demand for high quality gems is the best that can be expected, and it will only get weaker indefinitely from here? Or is it possible, as the company has stated recently, that the demand (and price point) will improve in the second half of the year? In the longer term is it possible that demand from China, India etc will improve as they become wealthier, not to mention the U.S? Or will the supply of diamonds in the world increase to the point where consistently lower prices are the normal state of events? My research may be incorrect, but it indicates that there is not an abundance of new diamond deposits. So if demand increases supply will struggle to keep up. The result is price increases.I suppose it depends on your outlook, near term or longer term. Also, I haven't read anywhere that the new mine is expected to be a loss maker. | alex1621
21/5/2015 08:36 | The share price is lower, but spiked up yesterday in the last hour of trading, so not much of a reaction, but certainly not a negative one. I'm more positive on GEMD, they appear to be progressing in the right direction and the customer base (around the world) medium to long-term is growing. No idea where the share price will be short-term but expect this to do well over next 2-5 years. | alex1621
21/5/2015 08:36 | Agree cestnous. MM usually mark this down first thing but it usally rises throughout the day. Take yesterday for example, up about 4% in the last hour or so. Today will probably be the same! | prita
21/5/2015 08:19 | A bit of a non event! Sp marked down, clearly the market was looking for something rather more substantive. It is clearly not expensive but equally the market is not willing to place a higher value on it. I am not panicking to sell but am now a weak holder so if I see another opportunity that I like the look of I will sell out of this. I have waited for so long for this to come good and every time we get another update I tell myself I will wait for the next one but eventually you have to accept that this was a poor investment decision. | salpara111
21/5/2015 08:13 | Disappointing initially but I have a feeling that this will show a rise intraday after the usual games. | cestnous
21/5/2015 08:12 | 21 May 15 finnCap Buy 150.63 - 314.00 Retains finnCap increase target from 261 to 314. Nearly a 20% increase! | prita
21/5/2015 07:49 | Very good and solid update. All going to plan, no nasty urprises and diamond prices steady. Some lovely big rock finds too! And of course plenty of cash on the balance sheet. All great stuff! | prita |
