Who did the ramping? What did they say that was illegal to ramp the stock?
Some Traders got caught out by the heavy selling of Sustainable, they got the wrong side of their trades and will likely exit at a loss. That's day trading and nothing to do with investing. |
It's those stung by the ramping that are bailing out now....Sustainable will wait for the next one to off load in volume... |
Everyone is under the impression that Sustainable will continue to sell on the open market.
Sustainable have to report every 1% of holdings sold within 2 days and they havent reported for a while.
Not downplaying the impact of Sustainable selling again into good news, that seems likely just not a certainty.
A buyback might be useful to underpin the stock price. IMHO. |
My observation is that buy backs don't work against market sentiment (diamond market tanking in this inst) or against a major sell off still with circa 16% to sell.
It would change the dynamic if the directors bought significant shares with their own money not ours. IMO |
The company has already stated Sept will be a key month dependant on how tenders go with the return of De Beers and Alrosa before they consider any buyback. |
This might be wishful thinking, but the company should really do a share buyback or tender offer haha.I know they still have debt, but it's somewhat manageable and asset backed.Maybe after they renew their bank facilities... |
Ramping is illegal BTW....so if you know anyone that ramped this stock to mislead prior to the very good Q1 results they would be in hot water.

Can I assume you've been deramping this stock with intent to mislead. Here's just a few things you've said, not verbatim.
Off the top of my head, I'm sure you got lots of other stuff wrong too.
1. The company won't being a going concern in 6 months (wrong)
2. The large stones are drying up (wrong)
3. There's a stock overhang (wrong)
4. Rearranging the RCF is a major problem to resolve (wrong)

A waiting game, that's right.- A long waiting game. Exactly what I think. And I'm gonna keep buying accordingly. Next time maybe in December, maybe later... Never to put a lot of money here again in a single buy no matter the price. |
