We all know that the problem with GCM has been political. It is not unusual for there to be considerable delays in coming good in resource stocks for various reasons to do with resource prices. Look at the moment at the recovery in metal prices and what it has done for stocks. Coal prices are high and the case for Phulbari is stronger than ever.

The point is GCM’s finances are sorted for a further year as required for audit statement purposes. We have had a number of positive RNS in recent months confirming everything is on track. As COVID recedes we can expect the submission which we have been told is virtually ready to go to be submitted and we should be off to the races!
