888/Bax. I think we should bite the bullet now and get the financials sorted. I understand that we have diluted a bit since 5 years ago, but we keep stumbling over loans, and terms of repayments and every year there is this no money announcement. It may be a bitter pill to swallow, but a 30% dilution now at say 20p gets us 6 million quid, we could settle all debts and have enough dosh to run as we have been for 2-3 years. Things have definitely changed for the good in my opinion, so we should have no problem raising the cash. I also think that the elections in Dec or Jan could be the turning point. What do you lads think. Cheers and GL.

Greetings to all the Derampers/morons who have appeared to day to knock GCM. Posters seeking to highlight standard accounting statements regarding the level of loans and risk of being unable to continue on a going concern basis.
However read the words after that
“The Directors remain confident that sufficient funding will be available as and when required. As such the accounts have been prepared on a GOING CONCERN BASIS.
The large loan is from Polo who are the largest shareholder in GCM and Mr Tang bought Polo because of its control of GCM. I don’t think he is going to trash his investment.
Good progress is being made and the large shareholders remain on board.
Keep moving this forward Mr Tang and your efforts are appreciated by the long term holders.

Daverob

I’m pretty confident they’ll be fine securing further funding again based on recent news.

Obviously further dillution coming (was always inevitable) which is one of the reasons I always challenge the crazy predictions based on historical highs & that Cazenove broker note. There’s already over 3 times as many shares in issue since that came out.

You do have to start wondering if/when the big cash cows will start saying enough is enough though.

So what do you think now baxtea ?

There is the issue of the money owed to Polo but Tang controls both companies so surely that's not really an issue as if GCM goes into admin Polo loses a big amount as largest shareholder.

Don't forget Polo is sitting on some big gains ie one holding (Hibiscus Petroleum) is worth c£22m so there should be money to help GCM if needed you would have thought ?

None of this adds up. They issue a rns yesterday with the pretence that CGGC have a contract with gcm and now gcm can't carry on as a going concern. They should states on yesterday rns that there are significant hurdles before getting the gob green light.

There will be lots of twists to the story.
