Let's have a rake through the GoB's bins:Nuclear, gas reserves, Barapukuria open pit, importing lots of coal, Jamalganj up there on top.Now they're sitting round a table with 2 documents: GCM SOD and the coal policy. Then someone comes in to inform them coal prices are going through the roof and Trump is about to come in and burn the stuff like it's going out of fashion.There seems like nothing left to make a procrastination committee about.

A couple of things Bax:The coal policy pretty much will be the green light, so obviously we don't see it yet.There might as well be no other coal mines as the only 2 other wildly optimistic options have recently been confirmed as off the table.

The point I was trying to make Bax is that it is now not just the only one ready to go, it's the only one that'll ever be ready. Our horse awaits at the starting line for ages while they work out how to get the other donkeys ready for the race. Turns out there aren't any donkeys after all so we might as well fire the starting gun on this one horse race!

They are certainly out of options.

Phulbari is also the only coal field that is ready to go. Unfortunately its been ready to go for years but to no avail.

We've had word that Barapukuria won't get open pit conversion and now conclusion of no coal gasification at Jamalganj. Economics of coal mining is very attractive now with coking coal up 250% this year and only option phulbari. I think coal prices are injecting some urgency and paving the way for what we always knew was an obvious decision to mine.

Yes they buy and create the first part of the spike, but don't post.When they've finished buying they will ramp it for the rest of the mug punters.They will be selling steadily into the ramp stage to create a market for the new buyers, not not too many together incase they flood it and stall the rise.Then they disappear until the next pumping opportunity.
