I also hope they are not acquired as the share price should be 500p plus in 3 or 4 years.

So do I - as I've said many times.

The recent trading update was impressive - 'highly cash generative' is a phrase the market loves.

But the share is deservedly highly rated so any hint of a slow down would affect it badly. But no hint that would be coming any time soon.

Results will be early June so I would expect an increase from 1.85p to 2p per share.

GBG is quite predicable - predictably good I am pleased to say! But predictable nonetheless - right now it will hover over 300p perhaps around 310p until the results which will boost it to around 330p. And then the cycle repeats with just the occasional and yes predictable positive news flow about current trading etc which is never negative! It could all be very boring stuff if you weren't lining your pockets! Sometimes there is always a first and GBG of course at some point further down the line could do the unthinkable and deliver a negative statement. But it matters not since many of us purchased at the 20p and less! The hard work is done with GBG - for those who like myself stuck with it!

Read Edison's note on GB GROUP, out this morning, by visiting hxxps://www.research-tree.com/company/GB0006870611
"GB Group’s (GBG) CEO Richard Law has announced his intention to retire. He will remain at GBG for as long as required to ensure a smooth transition to a new CEO once appointed. He will be leaving the group in good shape; 27% of revenues are now from the strategically important international markets and the year-end trading update points to strong momentum, with FY16 EBITA 11% ahead of our forecasts..."

Why on earth would anyone want a takeover. There would be no hope of achieving this sort of growth.
