Not necessaily. It was down last time but pre & post tax profit went up. Can't believe you were trying to sell recently, although I do not know what other opportunity came your way. Today's rise has been on minimal trading. |

Last set of fundamentals indicated revenue down by about 4.5%, but back in profit, lower borrowings, higher cash in bank, net interest was earned. Also, a basic eps of 5.40p and divi of 5p -which in my mind, suggests coinfidence. |

 I think they have, like last year, a trading announcement pencilled-in for the 15th Feb. Last year interims were on 30th March.
Looking at their last four years, they have reduced their now minimal debt. I'm wondering whether they'll be debt-free next set of finals, or even before then. In the last two years of finals, they appear to me to have been in postive interest over all and appear to have increased their bank balance from the previous years hit. Yahoo finance has them at 97p book value and I suspect that this is mostly down to the net cash.
They have a low operating margin which has risks, from memory they lost a contract last year, but it all seems to work really well and they were doing buyback and now have 31.52m shares. The buyback has ended with the last tranche bought on 28 Nov after the share price shedded about 6.5p the day before, on the 27th Nov -I mention this as a marker just in case they announce a further buyback.
So in my mind, it should be stable unless there has been some disaster. |
The exciting part of this stock is how undervalued it now is, full turn around, next results considerably above expectations, limited stock supply, midas tip of the year, spells boom! |
