Since early September we have had mostly buying and that seems to be ramping up in the last few days .Not too sure about the 100k yesterday but another 25k today.Time to get some more perhaps and take Alan buxtons heads up. Hmmmmmm.

Oct 7 - Enemalta has eliminated Turkey's Yildirim Consortium, that includes Spain's Technicas, from the shortlist of bidders for a new gas-fired power project in Malta.The remaining bidder ElectroGas, supported by Malta-based Tumas and Gasan as well as Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR, is expected to gain an upper hand over Texan-based consortium between Endevour Energy, Exodus Crossing and BB Energy.Looking v positive. :)

Decision was originally due end of Sept, delayed at least four weeks (apparently),but who can tell.

They have a project completion date of end of 2015 so not too far away if we are successful.

Might be worth a punt before news, as I beleive the general market is unaware of this deal as Gasol have not mentioned it.

Derek, can't see that being too big a concern as first gas to Benin is due in 2015.

Socar having problems just now with their bulla deniz field which has been on fire for over a month.

Tera.add on the benin side of things and we could easily double from here given the positive announcments.Siemens are serious players in gas turbines and Socar in supplying gas .we shall see.

Bron,

I have had a quick look at the other two companies left in the bidding, Endeavor Energy and Yildirim Energy.

They look like they both specialise in investing in power generation but don't have any gas supply hsitory.
I think Gasol have a distinct advantage in that they can provide LNG solutions via a FLNG and also have the SOCAR as the supplier, already on board as part of the consortium. Combine that with Siemens technology and the Malta connections and its all looking good in my opinion.

Robo .we will definately have a decision on the malta supply contract by the end of this month .We may not get it but if we do it would be a great start to our involvement with the Electra Malta gas consortium.Siemens ...specialists in gas turbine technology .
