10/3/2011 12:26 | Careful, it's the non existant MC affecting the enterprise value and not giving a true picture. The loan note interest, investment and recessionary factors stripped out any chance of a profit. This is what makes the restructuring such an attractive proposition. Fundamentals will actually make this an attractive buyout and a healthier business. | gerryjames
10/3/2011 12:21 | up over 500% in 10 trading hours, that has got to be some record... | 2seansflag

10/3/2011 12:02 | looking at these. surprised they still make a loss on a decent turnover. seem like a conventional tubine repair outfit. plus some knowhow in areas like emmissions etc. negative book value after stripping out intangibles is a worry. | careful
10/3/2011 11:57 | 2.35p on plus now , will we see 3p today ? fingers crossed. | minky65

10/3/2011 11:14 | gdasinv2 - 10 Mar'11 - 10:44 - 2645 of 2647 10p a min BID xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx RE GTE GTE GTE Beware of gdasinv 2 He is P&D all over the place This co is going to be delisted in a few days time and you will have severe difficulty in trying to offload your shares. Mugs still buying GTE at 1.7p. They are complete mugs who have been duped by rubbish posted on the BB. GTE is a clear sell. Forget about the 10p bid gdasniv2 talks about. It is sheer fantasy. Only mugs are paying 1.7p for GTE. Watch the lemmings head for the exit shortly | hardie1961
10/3/2011 11:06 | The key here is that the preference shares get the first £30m from any sale of the company. And thats only if the company is sold within the first x months of delisting - if I remember correctly, that amount increases over the initial period? Buying the shares now is very much a bet that the company will fetch more than £30m in any future sale. Your investment is tied up - in fact, it probably is an all or nothing bet. Either you lose all your investment, or you will get a return. I wouldn't buy this share with the view of "trading out" for a profit/loss once its delisted. I personally believe the company will sell for more than £30m - which is why it could be that more than 18% of outstanding shares have traded hands today. Could be a hedge fund that has spotted an opportunity, and willing to take a £100k+ bet on GTE. | boonkoh
10/3/2011 10:45 | Also any 1 can bid at such low price...show accumulating at these stage is good idea and wait - either way you will get money back | gdasinv2
10/3/2011 10:44 | 10p a min BID | gdasinv2
10/3/2011 10:38 | UK Yes you keep your holding. Although after restructuring the loan note holders debt is converted into equity. There is a dilution however it was their debt and the recessionary affect on the business which took this from 30p to where it is today. Business is improving, there will be no debt and $12m in the bank from the recent sale. An attractive company profile for a buyer. "The Loan Note Holders will between them hold approximately 18.45 million Preference Shares. When combined with the Ordinary Shares currently held by them, the Loan Note Holders will, between them, initially have approximately 79.4 per cent." The fact that the loan note holders are also ordinary shareholders explains why a trading platform and no share cancelation will take place IMO. | gerryjames
10/3/2011 10:36 | This is same like RAY, will settle at 30p... RAY was same situation , people bought them at 2p...and was sold at 35p | gdasinv2
