An investor can do all of the right things, such as buying high-quality companies that go on to deliver strong financial performance, but still fail to generate large profits on their holdings for sustained periods. This situation is likely to resonate with investors in British shares, and especially those who own stakes in smaller companies, which have become extremely unpopular since the FTSE Aim All-Share index soared to a 20-year high in September 2021.The index has subsequently fallen by around 43pc. Judging by the downbeat outlook currently adopted by most investors, a return to the heady days of plentiful capital growth seems highly unlikely in the short run.Aim All-share performanceFrom 11 Feb '19 to 8 Feb 13:16:57202020212022 |

Posted at 18/2/2022 13:21 by km18 ...from last year...Company overview: Gamma Communications is a leading provider of Unified communications as a service. The company operates on the UK, Dutch, Spanish and German markets both directly and through their network of partners. Continuous in-house development of skills helped for the development of extensive portfolio of services and intellectual property. The company is proud of its ability to provide flexible solutions and end-to-end control and technical integration supporting work from anywhere. Gamma adopts a blended approach towards growth with several acquisitions over the past few years. Goodwill is at a healthy 14% of total assets and there have been some impairments over the period ending December 2020. Fundamentals are very good, with revenue growing at a 15.5% CAGR, which is transformed to 28.5% on Net profit level. The lack of dilution from shares issuance, means that EPS is matching bottom line compound annual growth. What really attracted our attention is the continuous growth in EPS over the past 6 years, combined with a healthy level of ROCE at 30.8% for 2020. Gearing is negative, dividends are rising and return on equity is in the top 3 for the industry. Return for the investors is sustained, making the stock a solid long-term investment. Lates report from the company are the interim results where all figures are seeing double digit growth. Revenue is 23% up from H1 2020 at £217.4m. PBT and EPS have increased by 24% and 22% respectively. Gama will also pay 4.4p interim dividend (13% ahead of H1 2020). Biggest contribution to revenue growth comes from the European region, where revenue swelled from £10.6m to £35.4m, whereas UK saw a more reasonable 9% growth. The strong figures from the EU are due to several acquisitions made in 2020, which are now included in the financial statements. Robust performance and broaden market capabilities are a solid ground for management’s positive outlook....from WealthOracleAM |
