20/5/2021 10:39 | I didn't get too excited that it was in the higher range of forecast, but considering they are saying that now when we aren't even 5 months in yet makes me thing the full year is going to be a beat but theyd rather wait until later on to confirm that just incase something goes wrong between now and then. Will definitely take that, and continuing to generate good cash flow, what's not to like. | jamessmith23
17/5/2021 16:03 | Investors Chronicle report on Seven Quality AIM shares, stating that the holy grail for buy-and-hold investors is to find a business that is capable of generating a high return on capital and sustaining it while reinvesting profits. Their screen looks for shares that display these quality characteristics and can potentially deliver significant compounded returns over time. As the economy recovers from lockdowns, our quality shares screens are flagging numerous companies. On the Aim market, seven companies pass all nine of our tests. Gamma Communications (GAMA), which provides cloud computer services, gets full marks. | alan@bj

20/2/2021 10:02 | Liontrust duo see potential for Gamma Citywire AA-rated Liontrust duo Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh believe telecoms provider Gamma Communications (GAMA) exemplifies the key attractions they look for in a stock. The managers of the £609m Liontrust UK Growth fund said Gamma has three ‘core intangible strengths’ they look for: intellectual property, distribution network strength and high recurring income. ‘Over many years Gamma has developed market-leading proprietary technology solutions in the area of cloud communications and hosted PBX systems, where it enjoys high market shares. The company goes to market predominantly via a network of channel partners built up over a long period of time, while the majority of revenue is earned on recurring monthly contracts.’ they said in their January Fund update. Fosh and Cross added that after building a leading position in the UK, the company ‘has expanded in recent years into mainland Europe, where it sees considerable further potential for growth’. Interesting comment from Liontrust after a 10% reduction in their holding a couple of weeks ago ! | masurenguy
