08/8/2018 07:04 | Back in production - great newss. Part time operation prior to full mine production will help sort optimisation of processes. | bageo
13/7/2018 11:25 | boilandgas Excellent link to Ross Beaty. A true environmentalist and mining man. Solid proof that the two are not incompatible. His comments should be required listening to those engaged in environmental debates on mining. | mineng
12/7/2018 20:45 | Ross Beaty in conversation Interesting | boilandgas
11/7/2018 21:38 | pelgis Thanks for your continued photos of the area. Have to agree I fail to see (from their documents) what Dalradian gain from using cyanide on site. The economics appears little different and far more political. Hopefully the locals will understand the difference between Gal and soon to be private Dna. I believe Gal stood back from applying for licence areas near water bodies / historic areas for exactly the reasons you state. | bageo
11/7/2018 13:01 | Dalradian have started prospecting in the Omagh area, but have really upset the locals by drilling 500m from the main towns Reservoir at Glencordial- The stance against the mining operations has taken a major boost and the tide of opinion has turned and virtually everyone in the town are now in the 'anti mining' camp. Omagh minerals/Galantas are also caught up on this now, and the determined efforts of the new lobby groups will stop the mining. Any resistance offered previously was nothing, but mining at Glencordial brings the whole operation into plain view of the 60,000 inhabitants of the town, and also threatens their water supply. To make matters worse, Dalradian insist on processing locally using cyanide compounds. This is unnacepable. Get your money out before the collapse.. | pelgis

10/7/2018 19:32 | Well they have to do everything twice..To be sure to be sure | petersmith6
10/7/2018 12:48 | sorry all Is than newspaper in the republic of Ireland and not North Ireland right? Apologies if I got it mixed up. | panagos
10/7/2018 12:45 | Mr Justice Birmingham said waiting times of at least 20 months for appeal hearings would get worse, and more appeal dates could be cancelled, unless new judges were appointed urgently. WTF Didn't know that NI was a 3rd world country ... | panagos
10/7/2018 12:42 | mineng I am not an expert, it looks exciting but I guess market needs to clear the court case before giving a proper valuation. After I guess company will be raising equity (and debt) for progressing the underground mine and proving more resource. If they are successful Ross Beaty will eventually probably buy the company and add it to the gold producers portfolio of Equinox Gold. | panagos

28/6/2018 13:31 | Panagos How positive do you see the upcoming re-start of production? | mineng
28/6/2018 06:24 | Yes TC, I have noticed that the latest podcast confirmed the article you sent earlier. I guess sucessful gold exploration needs good grade and good size. The grade is there (22.5 g/t...that's huge). We need to prove some size and we'll do fine. | panagos
27/6/2018 23:53 | --->PANAGOS You beat me to it. :-) But you will note that within that interview, Roland also confirms what I said about production for next year. He also talks of the sort of investment that would be needed to push production higher still which all looks very achievable. So far, so good although the price of gold has dipped a little in recent weeks in dollar terms. Fortunately for us, we have been shielded against this with a weaker pound dollar exchange rate for now. But POG still well within our comfort zone. Regards, THE COUNT! | the count |
