10/1/2006 23:56 | 6.79 mil market cap on advfn now plainz. Unlike creo which seems to be overvalued by 3 times, if you can confirm the market cap is 70mil then i may go short on this. Easy to get confused when advfn fundamentals are so poorly maintained. | quotes_4_u

09/1/2006 18:21 | plainz, just cos they aren't on IG screen doesn't mean they won't trade em for you. IG shorted GND for me and said I can short FTI with them B | beta_adjusted
09/1/2006 16:29 | You can CFD through GNI, so you can probably spread bet through Man Group. Judging by the major shareholders I imagine you can spread bet through Cantors too. | typo56
09/1/2006 15:33 | does anyone know will allow spreadbetting in these? | plainz
09/1/2006 12:27 | Of course there's a mistake in the ADVFN number of shares in issue. ADVFN have failed to take account of the 160m placing at 5p back in November, used to raise £8m (gross). The number of shares currently in issue is just over 176m, although this could rise to 278m if the warrants are exercised. If all the warrants are exercised it will raise an additional £12m I wonder why warrant holders are not converting them at 12p/15p, and selling the shares at 40p. Is there a lock-in period? If I was a warrant holder I'd be tempted to short. The whole thing is very curious and I'm sure someone somewhere understands what is going on and isn't telling - it looks like a screaming short in the way Langbar looked a screaming buy! | typo56
09/1/2006 00:27 | Latest holdings rns suggests 176,115,000 shares in issue. At say 40p this gives a market cap of £70.5 million. | plainz
09/1/2006 00:23 | Seems so in papers and on other websites suggest advfn wrong. also the rns about holdings and % with no of shares also does this. | plainz
09/1/2006 00:11 | Could be wrong. ADVFN got GND's shares wrong. Get the listing prospectus from the company if in doubt. B | beta_adjusted
08/1/2006 21:18 | Future Internet Technology plc - RECENT NEWS -Planning 'substantial fundraising to invest in something to do with Voip -On the same day Credit Agricole said it had dumped a large number of shares. The number of shares quoted by ADVFN seems wrong, actually about 180 million so share price £80 million. This is confirmed ADVFN have it wrong as per email below. 05/1/2006 22:35 | I wouldn't bother with charts on this one Vuelands when it appears to be so irrationally priced . The question is, why isn't this sitting at around 5p? Why were there a couple of large trades today at 41p? | typo56
05/1/2006 22:29 | sure enough the charts are breaking down, momentum is falling fast and moving averages are being challenged, may consolidate at around 40p, but a fall to 31p looks more likely as a first stop. | vuelands
05/1/2006 22:07 | Can someone explain the situation regarding the warrants? As I read it there are a total of 102m warrants which, if exercised, would raise about £12m. The number of shares in issue would rise by about 50% so if the price remained the same the market cap would also increase by about 50%. At current levels that would result in a market cap of about £110m for cash of about £20m. Who has the 80m 12p warrant rights? Is it the original placees? Who are they? Is there anything to prevent them shorting this rise, then delivering stock at a later date when they excercise the warrants? At this level, 1 warrant for every 2 shares subscribed for looks rather generous, doesn't it? The whole thing looks very odd to me. I'm sure there's a reason for it - I just haven't seen it yet. | typo56 |
