30/12/2005 14:49 | seangwhite at the end of the day you need to take a reality check, are you trying to tell me FTI justifies a £64m premium after excluding the cash for being a shell? If you do, then don't come up with one liners, back up you reasons with facts and not speculation, read the 22nd december rns, they're not even close to a deal, 2006 can't come soon enough when MMs and traders will be sober enough see behind the veneer. | indian3
30/12/2005 14:10 | seangwhite, call VOG fracas or what ever you like, lets be honest, we will see who wins on this one when the serious market players get hold of this one in the new year, remember trading is small becase of the holidays and maybe muppets like you icking up stock at present, as you said roll on 2006 and i will have coments on fti for you pecifically, make sure you pop your head back on this board. | indian3

29/12/2005 15:48 | Market cap £72m. Surely way overpriced? Surely a blinding short? What am I missing, if anything? | typo56
29/12/2005 14:45 | doesnt matter what the Guardian say, the board of FTI have already stated they are no nearer to any deal nor know what they are looking for. most cash shell directors are simply just muggers with pinstripes on, they are no different to muggers on the street except they do it more politely. it is just a way for them to amass millions whether their businesses succeed or not. Robert Bommier has failures behind him too, just look at what hapened at Scoot.com during the dotcom years, Phil Edmunds, the former cricketer, now in charge of White Nile (or White Elephant as some call it), he instated himself and a colleague as directors and both paid 0.001p for a 10% stake each, (yes a tenth of a penny), which cost £15,000 each and raised around £15m with institutions at 10p placing price, his £15,000 was already worth £1.5m at the float price without even doing a deal. Now around 93p at half owned by warring South Sudanese Government it is worth over £350m without a single drop of oil (his stake worth over £50m after the dilution), i believe his lock in period expires in feb 2006,it will be interesting to see how much equity he still retains after expiry date. Great if you can get away with it. | indian3
